- One night was not enough for me, next time will stay longer
- room was great, with hot water and super comfy bed
- breakfast was having many options to choose from
- Shalika and Andrew was great and gave us all information we needed
- Andrew took us to the elephant farm
- And best server at the restaurant was Sakun

We arrived very late in the evening, but check-in was no problem, they waited for us.
The rooms were clean, the water was hot, comfortable beds, a terrace and air conditioning - what more could you ask for.
In the morning, an amazing buffet breakfast with a wide selection of food, coffee, tea and juices.
The view from the room, or from the restaurant of elephants bathing in the river is an unforgettable experience.
We stayed longer and had a swim in the pool after breakfast with a beer and a view of the elephants in the river.

Elephants

I liked location there . Because near river, specially can see elephants there.. because near by elephant orphanage. So elephants is coming to river for bathing.. so if you staying in this hotel you can see them ..

Auch für eine Nacht fühlte man sich willkommen. Wir haben ein sehr schönes Zimmer mit direktem Ausblick auf den Fluß und den Elefanten Badeplatz bekommen.
Schönes Restaurant mit tollem Ausblick. Frühstück ist auch super und reichhaltig.

Jako vždy perfektní, není co vytknout

Na ubytování jsme přijeli k večeru a hned nám byla nabídnuta možnost dojít si na večeři, která byla skvělá. Ráno na snídani bufet s poměrně velkým výběrem jídla. Po snídani nám manažer hotelu zajistil projížďku autem po okolí města. Bonusem byli sloni, které přivedli koupat k řece u ubytování.

On avait une vue incroyable sur les éléphants. La chambre était propre et calme. Le personnel était génial. Le petit déjeuner buffet incroyable. On recommande !!!

Lovely hotel in a great location and wonderful staff. We really enjoyed seeing the elephants up close as well as from the balcony in our room. The hospitality from the hotel staff was also excellent. They really did go above and beyond what we expected of them.

Mooie natuurlijke omgeving.
De vleermuizen die s avonds over komen, is ook zo bijzonder om mee te maken.
Jammer dat sommige olifanten aan de ketting gelegd worden. Ik hoef ze dan eigenlijk niet te zien.
Het hotel kan er niets aan doen.
Als ze de olifanten gewoon los zouden laten lopen, is het al bijzonder om mee te maken. Die kunstjes voor de toeristen moeten ze echt mee stoppen.
Dus ik heb er dubbele gevoelens aan over gehouden.
Maar het hotel is echt wel heel goed

This was one of the most magical moments of our trip to Sri Lanka. The unique chance to see elephants right from the balcony of your room is what makes this hotel special. Seeing these huge animals taking a bath in the river and even treat them with banana is a unique experience!

The hotel’s restaurant deserves a special mention. Breakfast offered a huge selection, from Sri Lankan traditional dishes to a variety of European. Dinner was equally excellent: big portions, reasonable prices and incredibly tasty food that literally sent me to nine cloud😍

The rooms are clean and cozy. The staff are kind, polite and helpful. All in all, this hotel leaves a feeling of care and heart felt warmth. I highly recommend it!
