Ideal hotel for a business stay with good food, excellent parking at a veryreasonable price
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent - Wide range of options on the menu, cooked to order.
Bar food in the evening was good value.
Plenty of free car parking.

Cons:

It was a bit of a walk into the town.
Bathrooms a little basic, and maybe in need of renovation

Decent for the price
Pros:

Good location, food decent quality & price, good staff, ample parking.

Cons:

It could be a lot better with some easy fixes. Hair dryers too old and fire hazards. Tea tray in room was dirty. Downstairs toilets are grubby so not a good first impression.

We had a really relaxing stay at Hannons. Very happy and will recommend it to others.
Pros:

Food, staff, peace and quiet, no fuss, room, service all excellent. The location was very central. Very friendly staff and local people. Food was very reasonably priced with substantial portions. Luke was excellent. He was super efficient and made it all look stress free even though he was very busy. Thank you Luke.

Cons:

We asked at reception what were things to do/places to see around the area. To be fair these were 2 quite young staff members. They told us there were shops in town and cafes. We had just had lunch! Later during our stay a more senior staff member showed us the folder containing all interesting things to do in the region. This was very helpful. Perhaps alert younger staff that this folder exists!!

It did the job, but wouldn't stay again!
Pros:

Breakfast was included in the price and the breakfast was nice.
Good location as it was near to the wedding we were attending.
Rooms were a good size.

Cons:

The two rooms which we had were not clean. There were two chairs in my room which had not been moved in a long time as the cobwebs which had built up behind them was disgusting. There were flies in the cobwebs. A black unit, which did not match the rest of the bedroom furniture had been placed in front of the window making it difficult to open. When I moved the black unit to see if I could get the window open, the carpet had not been cleaned behind the unit in a long time as there was more cobwebs and dust. The carpet didn't meet the wall correctly. There was dust a long all of the skirting boards.
My mum asked a staff member for an extension cable or a mirror as none of the plugs in the room were near a mirror. The staff member was very unhelpful and did not look to help with the situation. We were attending a wedding and needed a plug near to a mirror. We had to move a wardrobe ourselves for a mirror to be nearer to a plug. We left the wardrobe where it was to attend the wedding, when I returned my room had been serviced with new towels, but the carpet had not been hoovered to remove the thick dust which had built up behind the wardrobe!!
It was still expensive enough for the standard of rooms which we got, I wouldn't stay again.

Breakfast was lovely staff were so friendly and made time to talk to you

Cons:

Nothing was bad enjoyed my stay handy to the hospital my wife was in getting a operation took her down to hotel next morning she hade a bath and felt a new woman again

Pros:

Prima hotel voor deze prijs. Kamer was groot. Badkamer kon wel een opknapbeurtje gebruiken, maar douche was prima.
Ontbijt/diner was goed, wel erg druk, zeker als de locals ook komen eten.
