The location and the wildlife around the property. Also the seperate beach area with a bar. It is also adults only hotel. The restaurant for breakfast and evening meal was good with plenty of choice. The size of the room and the bathroom was also good. Excellent staff.
The steps around the property and the steep inclines as i have mobility issues but this is just personal for me.
Jardin del Eden was an exceptional boutique hotel. Loved everything about it. Staff were all so lovely and couldn't do enough for you. Food was gorgeous evening meal was like going to a top class resturant
Nothing to dislike
Absolutely loved the calm and relaxed atmosphere of the hotel. Whether at the pool or at the beach, you can really unwind here and enjoy both the ocean and the forest. The howler monkeys freely roaming in the parking lot of the hotel were an amazing surprise! The bar service was fantastic, with the experience of watching the sunset on the ocean with a margarita in our hands really unforgettable. Also loved the inclusion of a delicious vegetarian menu in the dinner options, which made my stay much better than it usually goes at similar hotels
The sunbeds at the beach weren't always very clean, with some bird droppings staying on a sunbed for multiple days before being eventually cleaned

There was nothing to like… this place was a complete tourist trap tricking people that don’t know better. I live in this town and you can get WAY nicer places at a fraction of the cost with way nicer amenities (the pics on the website aren’t what you get).
They literally use fake photos of rooms on their website. They show amazing balconies with jacuzzis overlooking the ocean but they look nothing like that (those are penthouse rooms which are 2-3x more…) literally switch and bait scam that would have serious consequences if it was in the U.S.
The restaurant has 2 options… that’s it…

The hotel and its grounds are absolutely stunning, genuinely like the garden of Eden. Relaxing on a daybed by the pool truly feels like a slice of paradise. There is also a private access area on the beachfront which has incredible views of the sunset. The rooms are huge and immaculate. Location is also great with plenty of excellent bars and restaurants nearby!
Although the service was great, if we’re being picky, it could have been a little more personable. There were also a few moments that weren’t quite that 5 star experience and didn’t quite match the otherwise perfect vibe. One example is being told to keep your cutlery from starters through to mains.

The property was gorgeous, and better than the photos online. The food was amazing, and the staff was attentive and kind. The yoga every morning was amazing. We loved hearing the how their monkeys. We also loved the outdoor lounge, area and bar by the water.
We didn’t love our room, it felt a bit small. However, it didn’t really matter because we were hardly in it. It would have been nice to have been waited on while we were lounging by the pool. We had to go up to the restaurant to order food and drinks. If there would have been wait staff for the pool, we would have spent a lot more money.
Great location, restaurant staff, and beautiful lobby.
We paid for an ocean view room and received an “upgrade” to a “romantic suite” which was basically with a bigger balcony with a jacuzzi. The jacuzzi was facing the garage, it didn’t have any ocean views and we didn’t use it ofc. This was clearly the reception managing their inventory to sell more ocean view rooms and I viewed this as fake upgrade. They should have let us chose our room, we were looking forward to enjoy the original room we ordered and I suggest to anyone paying to ocean view to be aware of this trick. It might seem small but it’s not a cheap hotel and it’s ok to get what you paid for.
