Cozy bungalow style hotel with lots of great rooms, a very authentic feel, and amazing owners.
Pros:

The room was cozy and comfy.
The patio was great for relaxing in the shade.
The outdoor shower was amazing!
The entire hotel is beautiful.
The owners are super sweet and very helpful/accommodating!!

Cons:

It's a bit of a hike to get to the beach. Probably only about 10min, but you have to go through a couple not-greatly lit areas.
I wish there had been a better/more secure way of limiting access to our individual room (the room itself had 3 points of access to a non-closable patio).

Pros:

Hôtel situé sur la fin d'une rue. Dans un espace tranquille et a l'écart de la route et du centre. A 10 minutes a pied de la plage et des restaurants. La zone est sûre de jour comme de nuit. Pas beaucoup de bungalows donc tranquillité assurée. Les bungalows sont entourés de verdure et donne une sensation intimiste. Entrée avec une porte a code (sécurité). Piscine avec bar à disposition. La chambre possède un lit et un lit superposé. Lavabo avec micro onde et machine a café (café moulu+filtre). Salle de bain extérieur protégé par moustiquaire sur le toit (appréciable). Linges + linges de plages a disposition. Terasse a l'avant (qui donne sur le chemin principal des chambres avec table, chaises et chaises hamacs sympa. Zone arrière avec table et chaises également qui donne sur un mur (fin de l'hôtel).

Cons:

Rustique. Notre bungalow se situait sous la piscine/zone de petit déjeuner donc nous avions droit aux chaises musicales tous les matins. Petit déjeuner simpliste (défaut qui ressort dans quasiment tous les commentaires de l'hôtel). Il vaudrait mieux augmenter le prix des chambres que de baisser la qualité des services. Jacuzzi qui ressemble plus a un petit puit (non nettoyé le jour de l'arrivée mais rattrapé le jour suivant).

A fine stay
Pros:

I liked that they offered the 'self serve' fridge by the pool where you could have a beer and charge to the room; and our room had a dipping pool. It was great to use right when we arrived, it was very hot and the beer was cold.

Cons:

There is a coffee maker in the room and I think for the price of the room, a single packet to make one pot of coffee would have been nice. We slept in and did not make it in time for breakfast (7:30 - 9 am). I showed up at 9:20 a.m. and there wasn't even coffee available. All good. I'd still stay there again. I would just do it differently next time. I needed the sleep more than breakfast, haha.

Bon séjour mais dommage pour la piscine...
Pros:

Etablissement très bien placé (2ème séjour), 5min du centre à pied. petite structure mais idéal en couple ou famille. a l'écart de l'effervescence de Tamarindo. Petit déjeuner basic ( possibilité de commander plat avec surplus...). Chambre pour 5 disponible.

Cons:

N'avons pas utilisé la piscine...ni personne car eau trouble ....problème de filtration c'est dommage. Séjour de 3 nuits sans ménage...

Quiet oasis in Tamarindo
Pros:

Breakfast was fantastic.
We stayed in a room with a "private" outdoor Jacuzzi yet several times during our stay, a staff member would walk into the area unannounced to sweep and clean leaves out of the Jacuzzi. This took us by surprise as we had our door open, a suggestion would be to have the staff member announce his/her presence prior to walking into the area. Steve and Martha (owners) are lovely and obviously take great care to maintain this place. And the hotel is a quiet oasis compared to bustling Tamarindo. We will definitely return.

Buena ubicación

Cons:

Instalaciones ok pero falta mejorar el servicio al cliente. No nos limpiaron la habitación, toallas no secaban bien, no hay telefono en recepción, no había papel higiénico en áreas comunes.

Pros:

C’est un hôtel de bel grandeur et le concept est super, on se croirait dans une petite jungle avec tous les arbres. Les propriétaires sont très gentils. À moins de 10 minutes de marche de la plage.
