Clean and Cosy stay
Pros:

The facility and the room were kept very clean, so was a refreshing pool. They provide enough bath towels so we can use some on the beach, but there were face towels provided. (It could be a Costarican standard)

The location was convenient yet quiet at night.

The manager Daniel responds to our inquiries quickly, and is very informative.

Cons:

After the confirmation via booking.com, they put a hustle about another online step for them to keep some deposit amount; according to an electronic engineer, this step takes us to a different site and our personal information is given outside the Booking.com site. No other hotels in Costa Rica have such a practice.

Pleasant little place to stay
Pros:

Great location, a nice little property and we liked the small pool area for relaxing. The room was clean, cool, comfortable and pleasant.

Cons:

Should add some signs to tell people it’s ok to use the coffee machine, and other small appliances in the outdoor common area. It would be good to have someone onsite for a couple hours each day (there is a small office but no one was ever in). They do respond to messages in the app but service can be a bit slow (e.g. getting new towels, etc). Some face to face time would be more welcoming, at least once during the stay. Yes, it’s walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the beach but warning it is via a rough dirt road and there’s no sidewalk. We did enjoy our stay overall.

Pros:

I enjoyed the room which was clean and comfortable. There are some nice restaurants nearby and the beach is a short walk away. The hotel is away from the very busy road which keeps it quiet at night. Self check in was helpful too.

Cons:

I generally had a tough time adjusting to Tamarindo, compared to other places I had visited in Costa Rica. I interacted with the staff primarily via WhatsApp and while everything I asked about was answered, it felt a bit impersonal. Regardless, I do recommend a stay here when in Tamarindo.

Hope the pot hole is filled because we’d stay here again for sure!
Pros:

Loved the vibe of the hotel. Room was a great size, very clean & cool! Close to town, shops, beach, restaurants.

Cons:

The road leading alongside the hotel has such a massive pot hole on it, at night you can’t see it, so be careful. We totaled our rental car by accidentally driving into it at night. Not the hotels fault, but be aware.

Pros:

Chambre très agréable. J’ai adorer. Tres bien situé.
Seul bémol pas de petit déjeuner je n’avais pas était prévenu. Le prix a était adapté.

Buena estadía en Tamarindo
Pros:

Lo que más nos gustó fue la ubicación. Totalmente privilegiada estar cerca del centro y a la vez de la playa. Supermercado, cajeros, cafeterías y lugares diversos para comer. En ese sentido 10 de 10.
Habitación cómoda y con lo necesario para una estadía justa.
Relación precio calidad .. excelente.

Cons:

Mi impresión fue que todas las energías están en otro hotel. Entiendo esta nueva forma en la que uno llega al hotel y uno realiza su propio check in (tipo Airbnb) es lo que se hace. Pero uno de los días llegaron a hacer aseo a las 16 hrs horas cuando estábamos de regreso y finalmente hicimos la habitación nosotros.
Por estas situaciones creo que sería necesario alguien en recepción que vea estos temas insitu y organizará de mejor manera esto.
