Lovely, friendly staff. We had an evening meal at this small hotel; small choice but delicious, home cooked food.

Excellent breakfast and food on arrival. Great friendly staff and proprietor
Very good breakfast, very nice and lovely staff. If we return to Scotland, we will definitely come back here! 10/10
A great place run by great people: they couldn't have been more accommodating. A proper old-style country inn with loads of history and a fantastic atmosphere. Decent dining, too, and though it was minus 8 outside the rooms were lovely and warm. 390 years in and this is an excellent place.
Everyone and everything was perfect

Lovely welcoming and relaxed atmosphere
Stayed one night in 2 rooms on 18th November.
Staff attentive and friendly.
Dinner served in small area with 4/5 tables and a coal fire which was lovely on a cold November night.
Menu extensive, large portions and the food was very good.
Breakfast was cooked and served by Peggy who was delightful.
Hope to go back and would definitely recommend this property
