Could be better
Pros:

Internet didn’t work. Tv didn’t work. Pub closed at 10.15. Apart from that… ok.

Convenient location but needs to improve the quality of the basic services eg TV and WiFi
Pros:

Good location. Staff very friendly. Comfy beds. Good shower. Good coffee/tea making facilities. Room clean and welcoming.

Cons:

The pub is clean but somewhat untidy particularly outside by the external stairs which are used for entry to the rooms. WiFi wasn’t working upstairs. The TV in my room did not work the first night which I reported twice but wasn’t fixed for the second night.

Would stay again, lovely rooms nice food and helpful staff. Would bring ear plugs just in case there over excited guests
Pros:

Location is beautiful and it was still lively and had everything you needed.
Food was lovely and prices were fairly reasonable.

Cons:

Some patrons and or guest had little respect for other guests at 1am and there’s no control in place to quieten anyone who may have had too much of a good time.

Clean, comfortable, friendly staff, decent pub grub.
Pros:

Was on a motorbike trip so stopped at this pub on route. Friendly staff, decent food served and room to park the bike out front. Tea and coffee in the room, nice cafe up the road.

Overnight stay August 2026
Pros:

Location was great in a lovely village. Very quiet. Room was clean and bar staff friendly.

Cons:

The mattress had uncomfortable springs sticking up which made it difficult to get comfortable. There was no breakfast available as they were short staffed. The bathroom was very shabby and in need of an upgrade and redecoration. Peeling paint on woodwork, sealant on shower tray had black mould on it and looked as though it had been poorly sealed over the top of previous sealant numerous times. The towel rail wasn't fixed to the wall properly and fell off. TV didn't work. Was unable to tune it in to any program.
