Disappoinment
Pros:

The staff were amazing and the location of course, everything else was disappointing.

Cons:

No water for 2 mornings in a row and overly priced.

Lovely stay with staff that couldn’t do enough for you
Pros:

The location is tranquil, the cabanas are a lovely alternative to a hotel with the sound of the ocean outside the room.

Not worth the price, far better hotels in the same area for a similar price
Pros:

The location and the staff were great

Cons:

We stayed 2 night and for around 4 hours on each day we had no running water at all. With a 1.5yr old this was extremely inconvenient and difficult.

Our ‘standard’ room was also extremely small and for the price very different to the other hotels we stayed at in the area.

Not a great way to spend the first fouple days of our honeymoon.

Pros:

Personal oli väga abivalmis ja sõbralik. Rand oli küll kivine kuid kohe nurga taga ca 20 meetrit oli liivane rand, kus võis ujuda koos kilpkonnadega. Oli võimalus sõita hotellis pakutava transveeriga lahtise inglise autoga.

Cons:

Häiris üle tee asuv raudtee. Õnneks rongid öösel ei sõitnud kuid varahommikul küll.

Замечательный тихий уединенный отель!
Pros:

Тихий, живописный отель на пляже Делавелла. Есть своя небольшая уютная ухоженная территория с лежаками и бассейном. У отеля свой выход на пляж, до которого нужно пройти 20 метров по камням. Пляж немноголюдный, без волн, на него каждый день приплывали большие черепахи, которых можно покормить водорослями) Номер в отеле очень большой с просторной верандой, на который даже есть ванная и душевая кабина, в дополнение к тем что есть в номере) Завтраки вкусные - соки, яйца, приготовленные выбранным способом, тарелки с фруктами, тосты, круассаны, джем, масло, кофе, чай) также, ресторан предлагает обслуживание по меню в течение дня - готовят вкусно) Персонал вежливый, позитивный, готовы помочь по всем вопросам, предоставили бесплатный трансфер в наш следующий отель) на территорию прибегала обезьяна, постоянно бегают пальмовые белки) в отеле часто бывает живая музыка)

Cons:

Уборка требует улучшения - за 3 ночи пребывания ее не было, мусор не выносили, полотенца не меняли, но приносили воду. До оживленной улицы можно доехать на туке за 5-7 минут

I would highly recommend a stay for peace and relaxation

Pros:

La cabane de luxe vue mer, incroyable, le très joli petit jardin avec la piscine. Un des serveurs du restaurant était vraiment adorable .

Cons:

L'erreur à l'arrivée (nous avions réservé 3 nuits la cabane de luxe vue mer et nous nous sommes retrouvés dans une chambre sans vue mer pour la 1ere nuit), même si elle a été compensée par les petits déjeuners gratuits qui n'étaient pas compris à l'origine.

Davanti purtroppo non c'è spiaggia, ma dopo 10 mt ti trovi a nuotare con le tartarughe. A me piace camminare sulla sabbia, invece devi camminare su scogli per arrivare sulla spiaggetta, dove poi bellissimo nuotare con le tartarughe. Un piccolo dettaglio

Overall we were happy as a couple of staff members were particularly helpful and lovely

The staff were lovely and friendly and very helpful
The location was lovely with the calm bay close by and the turtles. Walkable to the main beach area of Unawatuna
Staff could make happen any visit to any area from here and would take care of that for you
Relaxing and quiet

Cons:

Room was not available at check in time of 2pm. We got there early and had to sit and wait until after 3pm. Room was not always serviced. Only serviced once in our 5 night stay as we did not have a sign in our room to say please service the room and even though this was mentioned several times and thought it was understood it still never got serviced. Housekeeping was unorganised and the outside areas were not cleaned as they should be in the grounds and gardens

Very disappointing
Pros:

Beach front and gardens are nice and well kept, close to turtle beach so you can get there before the crowds - many of the staff were very helpful and kind.

Cons:

I had no hot water for my stay, the duty manager lied about fixing it and offered no compensation, other than one ‘free breakfast’, and was generally very unhelpful. I was bullied into paying on arrival (as opposed at the end of my stay and I feel it’s because the manager knew I would complain about the water, but wouldn’t provide a refund. The ground staff woke me up at 7am every day, sweeping and knocking around the cabana. The food and drinks are nice but VERY over priced. The cabana’s are nice, but there are no curtains on the (albeit very small) windows. The noise from the road can be is very loud - although the sea is usually louder. I was very disappointed with my very expensive stay and wouldn’t recommend this place - there are other hotels which offer better value.

Individually in a small site with good restaurant in nice atmosphare.
Pros:

Always enough lying chairs, beautiful garden with nice little pool.
GM helps on any issue.

Cons:

Rocky stones to the Sea but nice lagoon very near.
Backside right at the busy main road but no noise in the room except for thr railway sometimes
