bed faced the door you unlocked to Get in the room , and this was facing the garden people walked passed .and having no windows to open the Room was extremely hot , bedding was hot ,yes I understand that this is because it is a themed roomed , but in the summer I feel something else would have to be used !!! And along with a memory foam mattress it was unbearable…….. we had to go upstairs to open bathroom window for some air
sheets did not fit bed properly, got up 3/4 times to try and put back on , this broke our sleep to , as it was our pillow end that kept coming away and your hands were getting tied up inside the sheets …..

The location is great. We stayed in “The Stable” which was just stunning! It had a kitchen/living area and bedroom with a really big spa bath (which was great with the bottle of Prosecco we were able to add on).
Myself and my husband both agreed it was the best sleep we have ever had. The bed was really comfortable and neither of us woke up with our usual aches and pains.
The kitchen had everything we needed to make a great meal and then we enjoyed the continental breakfast the next day, that we were able to bring back to our Suite, with cheeses, meats, the most amazing bread and pastries, pancakes, waffles, yogurts… the list goes on. We didn't miss a cooked breakfast at all.
A 20 minute drive from Whitby meant we had a great day out after a very peaceful night away.
I would recommend St Hildas Boutique a thousand times over and can't wait to go back for a longer stay.
There was nothing we didn't like.
Only thing I'd recommend is not parking too close to the cowshed next to the carpark. My car had a fair bit of cow hair and whatever else that came from the shed all over it the next morning. Absolutely not a complaint though as we also loved the cows <3

Not much to do around.
We stayed in the Cape Town room, and it was lovely. The jacuzzi was very spacious and there were some lovely products there for us to use. The bed was very comfortable and the lady who helped us was lovely. We were able to get a takeaway to the site meaning we could just relax. Breakfast the next morning had a good variety and while we sat in the breakfast area to eat it, we were told we were able to take it back to the room on a tray if we wanted to.

Great location, warm staff welcome. Bottle of fizz for a special Birthday lovely touch.
The room was a very warm fan, not suffient enough. Blinds didn't work properly. Toilet smelt damp. I was not able to have a shower in the morning comfortably due to no mount for the shower fitting. Very slippy floor when getting out of the bath.
