To håndduker pr person og dusjmatte, noe som ikke alltid er standard andre steder lenger, men det var det her.
Fint innredet fjellstue med koselig atmosfære!
Etter vår smak, var det et perfekt opphold!

Great stay with great hosts and wonderful dinners.
Pros:

We stayed in the separate three bedroom cottage and it was very nice, spacious, and comfortable, with a great view out of the living room windows. Very nice dinners were prepared, and the breakfast buffet was substantial.

Charmante, maar ook wat oubollige locatie met heel vriendelijk personeel.
Pros:

De houten cottage was zeer ruim. Er zijn ook kleinere cottages en hotelkamers beschikbaar.. Alles is heel charmant ingericht en ziet er uit alsof je in een kerstfilm terecht bent gekomen. Het ontbijt is voor een kleine accommodatie behoorlijk uitgebreid en prima. De bar serveert overdag tegen extra betaling een divers aanbod van drankjes. Koffie, thee en cake zijn gratis beschikbaar. Er kan ook volgens een vast driegangen menu gedineerd worden. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk.

Cons:

De huisjes en ook het hotel zien er charmant uit maar omdat alles wat ouder oogt en vermoedelijk ook is, was het niet allemaal super hygiënisch. Er lagen veel kleedjes in het huisje. Op zich heel charmant maar niet per se heel schoon met veel wisselende gasten. De omgeving van Høvringen is mooi maar ook wat eenzijdig. Je zit op een bergplateau waar heel veel weidse landschappen en bergtoppen zijn te zien en veel (lange) wandeltochten beschikbaar zijn. De wandelingen zien er grotendeels hetzelfde uit. Het is echt een natuurgebied dus dat is geweldig maar er zijn daardoor ook weinig gelegenheden voor een drankje

Friendly hotel in a beautiful location
Pros:

Amazing location, beautiful views all around.
Room was bright, airy, clean, and comfortable - great views.
Friendly, welcoming hotel and staff.
Free parking at hotel.
Really good dinner, but overpriced.

Cons:

Bathroom was super small and shower water flowed all over the bathroom floor.
Gym was really bad - cheap equipment and most of it broken.

Wanted more money for bed linen/towels for the apartment, claiming that’s how it works in Norway. I stayed in other apartments in Norway with no such issues. I got it ultimately w/o fee since they had not listed on booking.com.
