place seems not clean
This was my second time staying at Airport 4 Season Transit Hotel, and once again it was a great experience.
The staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. One thing I really appreciated was the freedom they gave guests to access the rooftop and viewing areas at any time, even during the night, which was perfect for my plane spotting activities.
The hotel is located very close to the airport runway, making it an excellent choice for aviation enthusiasts. My main purpose for booking was plane spotting, and the hotel fully met my expectations. The rooftop provides a great view, and I was able to enjoy aircraft photography throughout my stay.
The breakfast was also excellent, with delicious local food and generous portions. Everything was fresh and well prepared.
Overall, this is a fantastic place for both transit passengers and plane spotters. The friendly staff, convenient location, and plane spotting opportunities make it a unique and memorable stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

If you're a very light sleeper, you may hear aircraft arriving and departing due to the hotel's proximity to the airport. Personally, I didn't mind it at all, as I stayed here specifically for plane spotting and aviation photography.

Le transit pour l’aéroport: nous avons payé un extra pour un van à cause de nos bagages. Le van n’est jamais venu. Nous sommes partis dans une voiture, avec les enfants dans le coffre avec 30 min de retard. Avant de prendre son avion… c’est pas cool

Very kind and professional staff and 5 minutes to the airport. Great value for money with the airport transfer included. We used this hotel for a brief stay to rest and freshen up before our overnight flight, so for us, the hotel was perfect.

La struttura non era molto pulita e c’erano presenti molte zanzare in quanto le camere non sono molto sigillate.
Stayed here for one night before heading to Sigiriya. The best thing about this hotel is the location — it’s very close to the airport, which makes it super convenient if you arrive late or have an early start.
The room was a bit dimly lit and overall pretty average, but it was clean enough and did the job for a short stay. Nothing fancy, just a simple place to rest.
If you’re looking for a comfortable place to sleep before continuing your trip, this works fine. Don’t expect luxury — think of it as a practical stopover near the airport.

Essendo però vicina all’aeroporto e su una strada di passaggio, i rumori erano davvero molto forti. Per cui in mancanza di tappi per le orecchie purtroppo il riposo è impossible.
Può però risultare un compromesso economico per dormirci una sola notte per arrivi a Colombo in tarda serata o partenze di notte, senza infilarsi nel caos di Colombo.
