Great location with a cathedral view from my window

A szálloda a Katedrális birtokon belül helyezkedik el, azaz látogatási időn kívüli időszakban csak a vendégek tartózkodhatnak a zárt területen. Késő este a kivilágított Katedrális körbejárható és fantasztikus látványt nyújt, akárcsak kora reggel, amikor még mindig nincs látogatás és békés hangulatot áraszt. A szállodai szobámból is nagyszerűen látszott a Katedrális ! A be-és kicsekkolás gyorsan megtörténik, a recepciós személyzet nagyon barátságos és udvarias. A szoba szépen berendezett, a fürdőszoba nagyon tiszta és minden szükséges kellék, pipereholmi elérhető. A reggelizés előre egyeztetett időpontban van, a felszolgáló személyzet is nagyon udvarias. Angol reggelit kértem és kaptam jó minőségben. Az egész szálloda elegáns külsőt közvetít és nagyon hangulatos a légkör. Az ár-érték kiváló számomra !

Superb location

A lovely place to stay. A welcoming friendly reception. Rooms were warm and clean and very secure. Excellent breakfast service.

From the moment you drive into the area, the community constables and the staff at the Lodge are delightful. The location is wonderful being right in the Cathedral compound. The breakfast is good and the rooms are clean and well appointed.

Hotel was very clean and in the perfect location.

Location and inclusion of free access to the cathedral - saves 18 pounds entrance fee. Rooms are very comfortable and feel new. Breakfast was excellent. Recommend the small extra charge for cathedral views.

The location is perfect! The hotel is located inside the cathedral grounds so is very central, ideal to visit thr city on foot.
The staff is lovely and very helpful and the parking is convenient.

Music event. Excellent acoustics. Good parking.
Friendly staff.
Clean and warm.
Only suggestion would be to consider stocking alcohol free drinks at the bar, eg lager, beer, Guinness.

Very welcoming. Everything was excellent - Breakfast, Lounge/Bar, Room, Accessibility. The staff were first rate - helpful, pleasant and efficient. Good value as the price also included tickets to the Cathedral (usually £18 per person).

Location second to none. Comfortable room, bathroom didn’t steam up, nice big mirror in bedroom. Generous tea tray, iron and iron board. Very good value for money. Breakfast generally good, although there was a rather strange selection of fresh fruit, and it’s hard to cut rind off melon in a bowl! We appreciated the filtered water available.
It would be nice if bathrobes were provided, and the furnishings are looking a bit tired and frayed.
Staff really welcoming and helpful, and being able to go into the cathedral as often as you like is wonderful.

The hotel was situated in a lovely central position for easy access to the town and all it's amenities. The room was smaller and plainer than I expected but clean and with all facilities you'd expect. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Fresh water available from a dispenser. The cathedral view was lovely, but that came at a cost for us because we were on the ground level so not able to open our curtains (for privacy) so it defeated access to the view. Be advised you will hear the cathedral bells, and neighbouring rooms and the hoover in the mornings, but it was a comfortable stay.
