We were in the middle of a heatwave and it was really hot. The bedroom window didn’t open far.
Not a criticism as everyone in the UK was struggling with the heat.

The outside pictures of the building and previous comments didn't seem to match what we found when we arrived. It was very run down, and the car park was full of potholes and in a poor state of repair. To be fair it looks as though the owners have just taken over the property and were in the process of renovations. This was not obvious from the description on Booking.com. The room we booked was at the top of two flights of stairs. It had no windows and only 2 velux roof lights. This was a deluxe room! The weather was hot and there was no ventilation. We had to ask for a fan which helped a liitle. In it's present state I could not honestly recommend this to anyone.

Car park was so badly broken up and on a steep slope that we were unable to park on it. Staff ignored us completely at check in. The pub was filthy and covered in weeds
