Staying for work
Pros:

Friendly Staff , great location

Cons:

Stayed in room Two and when i finally went to sleep i found the bed was broken and creaking every time I moved which woke me up

A nice place to stay and would recommend the White Hart Inn
Pros:

A warm welcome upon arrival, plenty of parking available, evening meal had been great I would recommend the Warrior burger off there menu. Room comfortable, breakfast had been very good with both continental and cooked. all in all a nice atmosphere to the White Hart Inn

Cons:

My only issue had been no toiletries with the likes of both shower gel and shampoo, not a problem for me as I carry my own but I guess some would find this an inconvenience, this is only a minor thing and would not stop me from staying hear again

Convenient, inexpensive stop over for one night
Pros:

Staff very friendly.Excellent breakfast. Good parking. Very clean.

Cons:

No bath mat or hairdryer. Nowhere to put belongings in bathroom except on floor. Room basically furnished with very creaky bed and very hard mattress.

Great friendly place in a lovely area
Pros:

Lovely old pub with a friendly atmosphere, chatty people and nice dogs. Great veggie breakfast, generous portion kept me going all day until tea time. Nice, spacious room with sky lights. Friendly neighbourhood. I fell in love with the forests.

Cons:

WiFi cut in and out, mainly out, couldn't get online. Not the end of the world, though, sometimes good to spend more time offline.

It served the purpose, but we would not go back to the same hotel
Pros:

Evening food choices were fairly basic, breakfast was fine.
Room was good, but bathroom facilities were not to expectations - no toiletries, no bath mat

Cons:

Bedding could have been more comfortable, e.g pure cotton outer layer

Very friendly cozy Inn
Pros:

Absolutely delightful friendly staff and owners with such positive attitudes. Our bedroom was cozy and bed very comfortable. We slept like logs. We had been provided with a couple of fans in the room which was very thoughtful. One evening, we sat out on the pub terrace with our drinks enjoying the sunshine then had food inside later, which was tasty. The breakfast was enormous and delicious. The location was fantastic for our needs as we did a run in the Forest of Dean and visited puzzlewood, both 10mins from the property by car each way. Highly recommended. We'd definitely come back, thanks for having us.

Cons:

I'd forgotton my hairdryer and couldn't find one in the room. However, with the fan on, my hair dried super fast anyway :)

Ace spot for the Forest of Dean, lovely staff and breakfast will fill you up for the day.
Pros:

Staff were super friendly, polite and professional. Breakfast was one of the best, fresh and piled high.

Cons:

I'm guessing the place is in mid maintenance as everything looked and felt part finished and some slightly odd smelling rooms mmmmmm but it was comfortable and clean (I've been to a lot worse)

Great place to stay in a recently refurbished and comfortable room. The beer was good too.
Pros:

Great place to stay if you are visiting The Forest Of Dean. The rooms compare favourably with some of the hotels I have stayed at previously. The bathroom had a new and modern shower and the double divan bed was very comfortable. Would stay there again.

Cons:

A wardrobe would have been nice.

I didn’t stay more than 10 minutes after ID PAID FOR THE ROOM I gave my keys back and left ☹️☹️☹️
Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

The building was in a bad state of repair, kitchen was closed so food, room was also not clean and not even a bar of soap in the bathroom I was so disgusted. I handed them back my key and left. I then had to find another place to stay which cost me another £78.

Cons:

Arrived and kitchen was being revamped ... we were not informed BUT after advice and info from staff we manged to go out for food so all well .
