OK but could do better
Pros:

Very friendly staff, huge breakfast. Felt sorry for the lady who was running the place and seemed rather overloaded.

Cons:

Steep stairs, could have used a little more attention to the details when cleaning. Shower hose leaking. Some road traffic noise.

I had a great stay, staff was lovely.
Pros:

had a wonderful stay at The White Hart Inn in the beautiful Forest of Dean. The friendly staff made me feel incredibly welcome from the moment I arrived. And the breakfast? Simply outstanding! A perfect start to each day. I'd definitely return.

Cons:

My only slight note would be that the room furniture felt like it was in the way, it had a massive sofa and cupboards that felt out of place.

Food lovely room awful.
Pros:

The breakfast was excellent. The staff were very pleasant and friendly.

Cons:

The room was small with no window only a small skylight which was covered with a blind you were unable to open. There was a food wrapping down the side of the bed from a previous guest, in full view, if the room had been hoovered I don’t know how it got missed.
We were a couple and there was only one mug.

A lovely family run pub. Excellent food and atmosphere. Meeting up with family, a good location for us all.
