Please note that the entire valley is car free and cars have to be left in Pontresina. Guest can reach the hotel by bike or on foot, as well as on cross-country or touring skis in winter season.

On prior request, the hotel can also arrange a pick up by a horse carriage from the Pontresina train station. Contact details are stated in the booking confirmation.

Also, a bus shuttle service from the Pontresina train station to the hotel is available on prior reservation at 10:30, 17:00 and 18:00.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Pros:

Rundum eine Oase zum wohlfühlen. Komme sicher wieder. Hat man ein Problem, wird gehandelt und nicht ignoriert, was den Wohlfühlwert erhöht. Dankeschön ☺️

Cons:

Die Matratze war ausgedient. Nachdem ich es beanstandet habe, wurde zeitnah gehandelt und ich bekam eine supergute. Mein Schlaf war gesichert.

Schöne Lage im Tal

Cons:

Bettwäsche war nicht sauber, Zimmer entsprach nicht den Bilder, Bedienung im Restaurant zum Teil unfreundlich, etwas unordentlich im Gastraum, Weihnachtsdekoration auf dem Cheminée als Lagerort, hinter der Kaffeemaschine bei Frühstück viele nicht mehr gebrauchte Sachen rumliegen

Pros:

We only stayed for one night, but I really wish we could have stayed longer! A beautiful and peaceful place with wonderful views and great hiking opportunities nearby. The room was very comfortable, the staff were lovely, and the breakfast was very good. There is also a nice playground for children, which is a great bonus for families. A perfect place to disconnect, relax and enjoy the surrounding nature. Would definitely recommend!

Cons:

You have to leave your car at the train station, as the hotel is accessible only via a private road. From what I understood, the hotel collects guests only once a day, at around 5 pm, so it’s important to plan your arrival accordingly. It would be great if transfers could be offered more frequently throughout the day, as this would make arrival and departure much more convenient for guests.

Aufenthalt verkürzt, mitunter wegen einem Muskelkater, aber auch weil das Zimmer nicht optimal war.
Pros:

Nicht wahrgenommen, weil ich meine Wanderung um 6:30 Uhr gestartet habe.

Cons:

Mein Zimmer war direkt oberhalb des Restaurants. Es war dort auch abends laut und zudem, kaum öffnete ich das Fenster, um zu lüften, kamen viele Fliegen rein.
Was mir gefehlt hat, war ein Wasserkocher, um einen Kaffee oder Tee zubereiten zu können.
Die zwei Stühle in meinem Zimmer waren ausgesprochen unbequem, es war kaum möglich länger als 5 Minuten darauf zu sitzen.

Prachtige ligging bij gletscher en verboden voor dooegaand verkeer het bergdal ernaartoe

Cons:

Eten van reisgenoten was fantastisch, ik had alleen raclette besteld en was gewoon een bord met saaie gesmolten kaas met daarin 6kerstomaatjes en zes kleine aardappeltjes.

Gerne kommen wir wieder
Pros:

Die einmalige Lage hinten im Val Roseg, der professionelle Umgang mit vielen Leuten am Nachmittag auf der Terrasse (das berühmte Desserbuffet wirkt) hat uns sehr gefallen. Das Zimmer mit WC/Dusche hat alles was es braucht und war sehr ruhig. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet hat uns überzeugt (reichhaltig und gut). Schlussendlich haben wir auch das Nachtessen à la carte genossen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben nichts zu bemängeln.

Pros:

L’emplacement: c’est le seul hôtel dans la vallée.
Le lit est confortable, le personnel est accueillant.

Cons:

Les chambres sont très mal insonorisées : on entendait nos voisins parler!
La moquette dans la chambre pas top : peu hygiénique.
Le repas : trop cher pour ce qui est servi.

Super mooie locatie, heel vriendelijk personeel

Om met een paarden koets naar het hotel toe te gaan en in een hele rustige supermooi omgeving te zitten
