Important information:

Please note that the entire valley is car free and cars have to be left in Pontresina. Guest can reach the hotel by bike or on foot, as well as on cross-country or touring skis in winter season.

On prior request, the hotel can also arrange a pick up by a horse carriage from the Pontresina train station. Contact details are stated in the booking confirmation.

Also, a bus shuttle service from the Pontresina train station to the hotel is available on prior reservation at 10:30, 17:00 and 18:00.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Very nice hotel and experience
Pros:

It is a beautiful hotel in the middle of a valley. You are away from any civilization in a stunning area. The rooms were comfortable and the shared bathroom and toilet were clean and well looked after. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the breakfast spread was very nice.

Cons:

It would have been great to have access to hot water in the evening to make a drink. The latest free shuttle service was 5pm which is more than fine but the basic amenity of a kettle would have made it a little more comfortable in the evening.

Wir kommen garantiert wieder und bringen Freunde mit.
Pros:

Die Lage ist grandios. Das Dessert-Buffet ein Traum, sowie das restliche Essen im Restaurant. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich, perfekt um zur Ruhe zu kommen, heimelige Atmosphäre.
Das Personal ist hilfsbereit, zuvorkommend und super fleissig.

Memorable stay
Pros:

Wonderful location, very friendly staff. We were four people and we had a shared room only for us, so we didn’t need to share it with anyone else.

Viel helaas tegen
Pros:

Het uitzicht is echt geweldig

Cons:

Personeel is niet erg vriendelijk of duidelijk, wisten niet wanneer we uit moesten checken of wanneer we teruggebracht zouden worden naar het trein station. Ook zijn de kamers erg oud en stoffig en slaap je boven een soort gasthuis/dormroom met stapelbedden. Wat je er voor betaalt is het niet waard.

Prachtig, heerlijk!

Cons:

Voor de lunch zijn de terrassen overvol en is er voor hotelgasten geen echt fijne plek waar ze kunnen zitten zonder iets te eten.
