Room spaciousness, location, and the mural on the wall was gorgeous
cool little boutique guest house that was tucked away on an off street. Easy to get in and out of. Parking. Quiet. Comfy bed and pillows. Nice bathroom. LOVED the shower products! the entire building smelled wonderful.
I mean... I don't want to be nit-picky, but the only thing I wished for was a little more counter or shelf space in the bathroom for my toiletries and maybe a small closet or rack to hang up my dresses. Didn't try the coffee set up because it was a "new to me" experience and I was too lazy to watch an instruction video. Also: I watered the sad little pilea plant. Poor guy is struggling to survive
Great location with off street parking; artsy style but very comfortable and good quality furniture, linens, decor, wonderful windows
Not as well kept as in prior stay and how the Heating/cooling system works is a mystery
Propery is quiet, clean, great location close to Providence College. A little gem.
It was difficult to find the correct parking. I was afraid I was parking in the loading zone as there were no signs to point me in the right direction.
The Dye House is a beautiful concept space in a historic building. There are only 3 suite rooms, so it is private and very quiet at night. I enjoyed the linens and toiletries, however, the room was not as clean as one would hope. I did find long straight hairs that were not mine in the sheets, drying towels, and even one inside the mini fridge. The building is also used as an event space and they were setting up for a wedding, which meant that workers came at 7am on a Saturday morning when I was departing and were banging around and very loudly moving furniture, which gave me no privacy or opportunity to sleep in. I did like the neighborhood and my room overall and would stay again.
We had a good night in the Dye House. We really liked the self service Check in. Our room looked very nice. We Love the Overall Design of the Dye House. Everythig was very Clean.
The bed was loud everytime one of us moved. It felt like either all the screwed Connection where loose or worn Out.
Location was very close to Providence College where we were dropping our son off.
Nothing. Everything was great. We will be returning for overnights during his athletic events.
The location and overall esthetic are awesome
The bed was old and had a dip in the middle. We stayed in a different unit earlier in the year and this unit was not as nicely equipped. Also, we abutted another room and there was no soundproofing, so we heard everything (baby crying and adults trying to comfort them).
The loft was decorated nice and bed was comfortable. The coffee pot was complicated pour over and it would have been nice to have host leave a couple water bottles. The biggest issue was that the neighborhood was undesirable. We were told by our Uber driver from airport to be aware of our surroundings.
We had some trepidation about a mini-hotel in Olneyville w/ off-site staff but our concerns were quickly allayed by the convenient parking, gorgeous exterior, bright and hip interior, general quiet (for the most part), high ceilings, historical details, private patio (we were in the Loft), and comprehensive charm. We were also impressed by the nearby West Side with its Victorian homes, leafy streets, and myriad eateries. Overall Dye House was excellent bang for the buck and we hope to stay there again!
Very little. As anticipated the Loft was bright in the AM b/c all the upper windows had no shades. Also the bathroom was a little bit of an adventure between an open shower (so everything around it was soon soaked) and a floor that had seen better days (albeit we enjoyed the antique tub). Also we could not figure out the coffee-maker in the room despite its detailed instructions; perhaps a more straightforward one next time? These are all relatively minor quibbles.
The design aesthetic and price
No amenities. No coffee, no water, a door to a random storage closet
Beautiful and well-appointed space. We loved how spacious, well lit, equipped and comfortable the loft was.
Nothing
Super cool architecture and micro hotel concept.
Entrance was littered with wind blown trash, shower drain was clogged, HVAC unit was not working, and a couple of light bulbs were out. Also one tissue in the box with no backup box in the room.
Cute place, well thought out and curated. Love the attention to detail ! Love the building, good customer
No adjustable heat, gift shop QR code not working, coffee machine not emptied.
