Lovely stay for what we needed.
Pros:

Convenient location for our needs. Small but perfectly functional bedroom. Fan in the room and all windows could open. Good shower. No breakfast but that didn’t bother ourselves, there are cafes nearby. Nice village.

Pros:

Welcome from staff and well presented room. Excellent bar and restaurant quality is the tops!

Cons:

The towels and flannels in the room far too starchy to the touch for my preference. Having experienced this issue last year, used my own.

A lovely pub setting with great staff.
Pros:

It has on-site parking. The room was nice and clean.

Cons:

It is an old building and therefore the stairs up to the accommodation are quite steep.

Pretty good all round but could have been 10/10
Pros:

Really friendly staff. Great restaurant and extensive menu. Spacious room with comfy bed. Great shower with good pressure.

Cons:

Staff couldn’t find our reservation!
Bathroom was modern but looked like fan wasn’t working so mould growing in shower sealant and damp in ceiling. In practice makes v little difference but needs sorting.
Why no breakfast service? Only 3 rooms and the kitchens were being used at 8am - surely not too difficult to do even a limited service. We went down the road to eclectic local cafe.

Breakfast not provided. Excellent meal in the restaurant. Good bar. Clean, attractive and comfortable rooms. Easy parking. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Pros:

Lovely room, staff were incredibly accommodating. Couldn't hear any noise from the downstairs pub at all, very relaxing stay!
