- le jardin, la terrasse et la piscine sont magnifiques
- les chambres et sdb sont très propres - celles du rez de chaussée étaient en cours de rénovation
- il y a des frigos dans les chambres
- le petit déjeuner servi au bord de la piscine est très bien
- possibilité de restauration le soir (rice and curry) si commandé en avance
- l'équipe est discrète et sympathique

Cons:

Attention, l'hôtel est mal positionné sur Google Map et ne se trouve pas en bord de route - il est dans la nature au bout d'un chemin, les premiers commerces sont donc un peu loin

Entspannter Ort mit Pool und allem was es braucht.
Pros:

Ein sehr ruhiger Ort zum abschalten und entspannen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, sauber und das Bett sehr bequem. Dann Klimaanlage waren auch die Nächte gut auszuhalten. Der Pool und der liebevoll gepflegte Garten waren das absolute Highlight!

Dejligt ophold
Pros:

Virkelig dejlig swimmingpool og værelser. Der var dog lidt dybt og inden mulighed for ungerne kunne bunde.

Cons:

Vi var heldige at have privatchauffør, for ellers er beliggenheden lidt langt væk fra tingene. Men for os var det skønt at være ude i junglen og bare tage bilen når vi ville på restaurant eller ind og se elefanter.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here with our two young children (5 and 1.5 years old). Everyone at the property was incredibly attentive to all our family's needs and made us feel right at home. The rooms were fantastic—spotless, spacious, and extremely comfortable, which is exactly what you need with a toddler. Also, after a hot morning safari, coming back to relax in their beautiful pool was an absolute lifesaver for the kids!
A huge plus was how they handled our safari: they organized a great driver for us without any extra markups, and we were able to pay the driver directly. It made the whole experience so stress-free! The food was another massive highlight. The breakfast was amazing and perfectly set us up for the day. For dinner, we ate at the hotel—it was very reasonably priced, absolutely delicious, and even our young kids loved eating the curries! Highly recommend this place for anyone, especially families, looking for a perfect safari base.

Absolutely flawless stay! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The location is away from town, but absolutely perfect for nature lovers. There is nothing more relaxing than spending the afternoon in the swimming pool watching and listening to animals in their natural habitat. It felt like a private safari from the comfort of the water. It might be further away from town, but really you didn't come to Udawale to see it. And after all you will not want to leave anyway as every meal we had there was delicious. I can’t recommend this place enough! They will also help you to organize everything for a fair price what made our visit super easygoing. And most importantly our room was spotlessly clean. Take my advice and stay there for at least two nights. Don't rush back to the touristic beach and enjoy how time slows down over there.

Toller Aufenthalt im Udawalawe-Nationalpark
Pros:

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt im Vimanra. Das Zimmer ist klein aber völlig ausreichend. Highlight für uns war die vom Hotel organisierte Nachmittag Safari. Morgens waren wir im wunderschönen Pool schwimmen. Auch das Frühstück war sehr lecker und der Hotelchef sehr freundlich.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would happily return. The facilities were excellent—everything was well-maintained, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged to make guests feel at home. It was clear that a lot of care goes into ensuring visitors have everything they need for a relaxing stay.

A special mention goes to the host, who truly made our experience exceptional. He was incredibly kind and welcoming, and even prepared breakfast for us outside of the regular hours, which we greatly appreciated. He was also very responsive to messages, always quick to reply and helpful with any questions we had.

Cleanliness throughout the property was outstanding. Our room and all common areas were spotless, which made us feel very comfortable from the moment we arrived.
