Das kleine Hotel ist sehr günstig gelegen und vom Bahnhof aus schnell zu erreichen. Mein Zimmer war zweckmäßig ausgestattet und sehr ruhig gelegen. Das Frühstück war liebevoll zubereitet und abwechslungsreich. Ich habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt.

A highly recommended place to stay because of the hotel's ambiance and Stefan's suggestions.
Pros:

In an age of mass tourism it is extremely refreshing to be in a family-owned, family-staffed hotel with many tasteful personal touches. The owner (Stefan) was very attentive and helpful, catered to our breakfast preferences, and made helpful suggestions about things to see. At his suggestion we took the short ferry. walked to the Loreley statue on the peninsula on the other side of the river, climbed up the 400 steps of the Rheinsteig to the top of the Loreley Rock for a wonderful view of the river and a visit to the small explanatory museum, followed by a treat at the restaurant there. Truly wonderful and recommended to everyone. We also recommend a walk up to the Rheinfels castle on the same side of the river as the hotel. (Note: We would have preferred to arrive in St. Goar by boat from Koblenz but the boats were not running that day because of the low river water level. We were able to leave St. Goar by boat to Mainz, a truly memorable trip.)

Cons:

We can't think of anything that could have been better. The only possible thing we can think of (and this is truly an extremely minor thing) is that there might have been more black tea breakfast options. Note, there were two black tea options, so we were very satisfied.)

Pros:

Easy to acess Close to Train Station and Cruiser boats. The Hotel is clean the Host was very polite also the breakfast which was included when I Book the room was fenomenal .
