The lake brienz view was amazing!
Spiders at the balcony and dead houseflies. However as long as the windows are closed, they dont come in :)

Our room with a lake view was nice. On the basement floor the view is a little obstructed by the housing though. The lady at the front desk was very attentive, cheerful and helpful. She was particularly helpful at breakfast. The close proximity to the lake beach was great and it's a quiet place.
The shower curtain is too long and plugs up the drain and is overall a hassle to deal with. There were no hand towels provided. No floor shower mat provided. No outlets in bathroom or counter space for curling iron or makeup. No gluten free options for bread items. It would have been nice to have gluten free bread available. It's not difficult to have a loaf of bread or a muffin available (since it can be frozen) and it seemed like other hotels we stayed at had this option. I didn't realize that this was a smoking hotel (someone else booked it). So having to inhale smoke in the basement hallway (for a brief period) that one day (we stayed 4 nights) was not pleasant. If I had realized that it was a hotel that allowed smoking, I would not have booked it. (Obviously, this is not the hotel's fault). I was pleasantly surprised though that I only smelled cigarette smoke that one time. It's also too isolated for my liking. We needed to take a train to go eat or do anything. The train came once an hour. So, we did not have easy access to grocery stores or restaurants.
Room and views are amazing. You will have a direct view of the lake next to mountain. Rooms are spacious and nicely decorate. Breakfast includes a verities of options. The lady is super nice and kind to the kids.
There is no restaurant near by. You will have to take a 10 mins train to Interlaken main station for dinner. Otherwise for the living its an amazing place to live in.
We had a nice stay at the hotel with an amazing view, comfortable beds, and a healthy but simple breakfast. The hotel wasn't very big so the lounge was often quite empty, which also meant a calm and relaxing stay.
We easily had access to Lake Brienz and public transport to Interlaken/Brienz, including the lake cruise (which arrived and departed only a few minutes from the hotel). The train departed towards Interlaken once every hour in the early morning and more often in the middle of the day.
The staff was accomodating and helpful in no time when needed - and also quite down to earth and down to chit-chat.
Had it not been because of the price, we would've stayed for longer. Definitely looking forward to staying there again in the near future!
The breakfast buffet, which wasn't free, could've been more interesting with a wider variety of foods.
Food in general was also not easily accessible during the late and early hours of the day since it is necessary to get it from either Interlaken or Brienz. Thus, we often had to either eat dinner at cafes/restaurants in Interlaken or purchase meals from the grocery stores/supermarkets in Interlaken in advance and bring it to the hotel.

房间的露台就对着布里恩茨湖，风景绝美。下楼走下坡就是火车站，可以乘火车去茵特拉根东站，每小时都有车，酒店提供免费的交通卡。酒店距离茵特拉根小镇有一段距离，但交通还算方便。我们自驾，可以免费停车。如果不是自驾，不建议选择住在这里。

No air conditioning and no elevator!
Great scenic view. Super friendly staff. Has private kitchen to make food if needed. Very convenient location for boat and train ride!
No AC. But it is bearable during my stay. It might be difficult during July/Aug.
It was relatively inexpensive compared to other hotels.
No elevator, no air conditioning. The room was rather warm and had a small oscillating fan. Included Breakfast wasn’t very good.
Das Frühstück war ok. Die Umgebung war schön.
Es war sehr laut im Hotel. Die Wände ringhörig. Kein Kühlschrank im Zimmer und der Rest lässt auch zu wünschen übrig. Die Decke in der Dusche war mit Schimmelpilz belegt.

Frühstück und Lage waren super. Balkon mit schöner Sicht auf den See. Bett war bequem.
Im Badezimmer fehlte der Deckel des Ablaufs in der Dusche, was nicht so toll gerochen hat. Aber wenn man die Tür zum Badezimmer geschlossen hat, war im Zimmer nichts mehr zu riechen.
Amazing staff and great view. I recommand having the breakfast there.
