Not worth the money - not what it appears
Pros:

The living area in our cabin had enough room for our group to sit around and relax together. There was a nice view of the water, boats and houses opposite. It was a short drive to the towns of both A and Reine and there was free parking nearby.

Cons:

We booked two cabins. One was a 5 minute drive from the other which was very inconvenient for our group. We also specifically emailed the hotel as soon as we booked to ask them to confirm that the bedrooms in the 3 bedroom cabin were in fact proper bedrooms and not beds in common spaces as we had booked through Booking.com and the information on the booking site wasn't comprehensive. The Tide confirmed by return email that it was 3 proper bedrooms. On arriving, we discovered there were two bedrooms and a bed located on a platform up a ladder. No door, no way to get your luggage up the ladder, not enough head room to stand up in the space. When we queried this and showed the girl at reception the email correspondence, she was nice but said management had advised 'that this is a proper bedroom in our opinion'. We were then forced to split our group up and pay for two more nights of accommodation (and having to move after one night to a different room as they were otherwise fully booked). No apology and no discount. The receptionist the next day helpfully shared that this is a common complaint The Tide gets from guests who book through Expedia and Booking.com. To add insult to injury, there were dirty underpants and socks in our bathroom cupboard from a previous guest, and although we knew breakfast is not included for the cabin guests, having to pay upfront before you enter the dining room as though you're the kind of guest is going to do a runner was the nail in the coffin for us. If we'd been able to look at the buffet breakfast before booking we certainly wouldn't have paid for it. This was the only bum note in our Lofoten holiday, but could have been improved by the venue being honest up front about the room configuration or at least not charging us exorbitant last minute accommodation rates to fix up what we consider was their error.
