Lovely location and cosy stay
Pros:

Old building but cosy and very clean.
Staff most helpful and kind, especially the guy at the reception.

Cons:

Nothing i disliked but there was no hair dryer and for cooler climate guests staying with kids or any guest with long hair would need one

Cons:

Room on 2nd floor; my goodness walking up the stairs for 60s series couple. Should also placed a refrigerator on the 2nd floor too.

Tutto bene!!

Posizione leggermente defilata rispetto la via centrale quindi assolutamente slenziosa.

Pros:

Le personnel de l'hôtel est agréable très gentil, poli et soucieux de votre bien être. Par contre n'essayez pas d'y déjeuner ou d'y manger.

Cons:

Par contre les malaisiens ont vraiment un vrai problème de respect ça crie dans les couloirs des 6h du matin comme s'il était 13h. Il a fallu sortir les réprimander pour que le bruit cesse.

Séjour au calme et bien placé pour les différentes excursions et pour se balader en ville.
Pros:

Personnel accueillant et toujours disponible.
Établissement propre et très bien placé.
Les chaussures ne sont pas autorisées dans les étages des chambres ce qui évite le bruit et les saletés.
L’établissement propose également un service de taxi et des excursions.

Pros:

I stayed at Hillview Inn for 12 nights as a solo female traveller. Unfortunately, although Cameron Highlands itself is beautiful, there were several serious problems with my stay.
There was a horrific fertiliser-type smell coming onto the balcony, which at times made it extremely unpleasant and effectively unusable, despite the fact that I had specifically paid for a balcony room. There was also an ant infestation, both in the bathroom and on the balcony.
The Wi-Fi in my room was poor or unavailable, meaning that I regularly had to use the communal area in order to work online. On occasions, male members of staff were drinking alcohol in this area, which made it an uncomfortable environment for me to sit and work in, particularly as a woman travelling alone.
Most concerning of all, housekeeping left my room unlocked on two separate occasions. As a solo female traveller with my belongings and travel documents inside the room, I found this completely unacceptable and it left me with significant concerns about security. Unfortunately, because I had booked and financially committed to a long stay through Booking.com, I felt trapped and unable simply to move elsewhere when these problems continued.
There were aspects of Cameron Highlands that I really enjoyed, and I had some lovely experiences elsewhere in Tanah Rata, but I would not stay at Hillview Inn again. For me, reliable security, a usable room and balcony, and a comfortable place to access Wi-Fi are basic expectations, particularly during a 12-night stay.
