Location of hotel was the best part of it. The stay begun great with staff being extremely accommodating due to us arriving early morning, they gave us our room way before check-in time which we truly appreciated.
The hotel was very expensive for what it is. We decided to stay here thinking the price was worth the stay because of breakfast and the hot tub. However, due to issues with the hot tub not heating up (and one side of the tub not working which took forever to fill) we ended using the room mostly to sleep. We might as well stayed in a plain hotel room at a much better price. Breakfast was okay - coffee was not good. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again nor recommend due to the false advertisement of what is expected when you book here. I saw that there have been previous reviews saying that the hot tub issue has been fixed but it clearly has not when we visited so I would not trust that it has been fixed in the future.

Although they let us check in an hour early, there was no power or water until check-in time at 3:00.

Food was delicious, great service from Mauricio every day at breakfast! Gifts from Betty and Xochitl for the solar eclipse were a welcomed surprise in our room! Wonderful stay, great amenities & location.
