Pros:

Most importantly, this hotel accepts foreigners, which most places in Chandigarh do not!

The hotel itself is fine. Kind of pricey but okay. Clean but a little bit scruffy (the bathroom in particular). Convenient for the railway station, (public buses stop at the railway station too but it's actually quite far from the city centre).

There are cheap local eateries & convenience stores nearby. (There's a delivery menu in the room too but I did not try it)

Staff were kind.
