Außergewöhnliche, ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommene, sehr liebevoll eingerichtete, vis a vis an einem schönen, ruhigen See gelegene Unterkünfte.
Vielfältige Flora und Fauna, bestimmt auch für Ornithologen sehr interessant.
Leckeres frisch zubereitetes Speisenangebot durch die Dame des Hauses mit herzlichem Empfang durch Personal und den Gesprächen mit dem Gastvater.
Auf jeden Fall die tollen morgendliche Führungsmöglichkeit um den See mit Guide Sala nicht verpassen :-)

Nos gustó todo en nuestra estancia. El emplazamiento es idílico y tranquilo con unas vistas maravillosas al lago. Nuestra cabaña y cama eran muy cómodas y tranquilas, descansamos muy bien. La dueña y el resto del personal fueron muy amables. Disfrutamos también de las piscina. El desayuno riquísimo. Volveremos sin lugar a dudas a alojarnos aquí la próxima vez.

The grounds of the hotel are lovely with nice trees and plants which are well maintained. The bungalows are all arranged so you have private space outside. Ours looked onto the lake so we could watch the birds from the balcony. Breakfast was good, the highlight being the homemade bread and freshly ground coffee.

Emplacement très au calme en retrait de la route et au bord du lac. Personnel, très aimable et très arrangeant. Pain Maison fait tous les jours très apprécié. À conseiller !

Quiet located at the border of the lake. Separate houses. Perfect hideaway. Owner and staff utmost friendly. Breakfast above expectation, with fresh bread baked by the owner.

La piscine est très agréable, avec vue sur le lac. On nous a prêté des vélos pour faire une balade. Le chalet est bien équipé. Le personnel très agréable.

I chose Viang Yonok for the location, beside Chiang Saen Lake with beautiful views and lots of birds. Having driven past it on previous visits to the area, I thought I'd give it a try. Location--wise it's fabulous. The grounds are looked after meticulously and the rooms are spacious and bright with comfortable beds and pillows, hot showers and so quiet. Ideal for chilling out and wildlife photography. Our hosts were warm and friendly and if you like old motorbikes, Ian's your man with a lovely collection of classic BSAs. The open restaurant is really nice with a choice of breakfasts. They even bought me marmalade when they found out it was my preference. So far so good. The only thing we found was that the time for the evening meal was a bit restrictive and one night when we returned at 7.30pm, the staff had gone home. Not a problem as there's an excellent Thai restaurant a few minutes drive away. But maybe bear that in mind. There was only us staying but apparently if it's full, the staff stay longer. Also, if all you drink is a small bottle of beer, I'd let them know in advance as all they had were big bottles. They did go out and buy small bottles for me when I asked. So all in all it is a great place to stay, well recommended. 😀

breakfast was excellant with some healthy choices. loation by the lake was excellant nice and quiet area,, no traffic noise day or night like many others i came to the area for bird watching and this is the perfect place to stay, a little bit more expensive than some places in chiang saen town, but well worth a little bit extra for the convenience, birds right outside your door

A lovely hotel. The gardens lush and full of birdsong. Staff were more like family and couldn't do more to make your stay perfect. We stayed 3 nights and the meals were excellent each night. I slept so well and toured all the country locations surrounding the hotel

Lovely Lanna style room overlooking the lake. The hosts were lovely and cooked us some great food. Beds were very comfortable and the area was very peaceful but within easy reaching distance of the town. The gifts as we left were a lovely gesture too...as were the hugs! 😃

Wunderful Lodge at beautiful location at the Chiang Saen lake. Delicious dinner prepared especially for us as we were the only guests that evening.
We loved biking along the lake watching the birds and enjoyed the beautiful sunset at the lake.

This resort is a little heaven corner in a stunning area.
