Pros:

Great location for were we needed to be. Easy to find. Busy pub . Pleasant staff. Definitely dog friendly. we met some right characters. The room was a really good size and bathroom was good. The hotel was busy and the noise level was unnoticeable. Room warm enough for us. It was a chilly weekend.

Cons:

The walk ways in the hotel areas were a bit tired but this is a busy place.
Curtain in our room didnt block out light. thankfully only a small window.
The bed was FIRM but it's an individual thing there. Towel warmer didnt work but not life threatening.

The staff were all excellent and you can tell it's a good work environment because of it, all genuinely friendly and
Pros:

Large pub with nice decor. The rooms were clean, the shower was the best shower in a hotel ever, a big rainfall head with plenty of pressure and was really hot.

Cons:

The fan in the bathroom was constantly on as it's an MVHR system but wasn't too loud. The TVs are dated with a sluggish menu and no apps.

Comfortable stay, staff very helpful!!
Pros:

We very much like to stay here with its pub atmosphere etc. Staff lovely but felt understaffed in the restaurant Thursday night. The girl that served us was brilliant & the young men on the bar very pleasant & helpful but she was run ragged however was very polite & helpful. No grumbling, just got on but was very professional!
In the room Thursday night ‘no tv’ we were told it was due to wind & the masts down.
Great that they noted a message we sent & the room we were in was clean, no noise from anything so we got a good nights sleep! We will stay again.

Cons:

See previous note.
Lack of tv on Thursday night & not enough staff in restaurant. My husband felt that possibly because of understaffing the meal was not as good as we’d had in the past. My meal was fine. 🤗

Overall very happy with the stay.
Pros:

Staff were great, the food was excellent and the bed was very comfortable. Exceptional value for money in the area, and the food was nice.

Cons:

The shower... The pipe leaked badly from where it meets the shower head. The shower head holder is flimsy (won't tighten), so it slipped around and ended up having to hold it. The lower seal on the door doesn't stop water from leaking onto the bathroom floor (Room 10).
