Pros:

Dinner was excellent - Sam was particularly helpful. Reception were very helpful too. Lovely hotel in extensive grounds.

Cons:

Later restaurant opening would be good, but I understand why it's the way it is. Also some snacks/water in the room on arrival would be nice. Minor point - the guide mentioned bath robes, but they weren't available. Best to remove that from the guide? Oh yes, usb charging in the room would be good too. Otherwise, top marks!

Room was not clean, shower had next to no pressure and the radiator in one of the rooms didn't work so room was cold.

Lovely hotel with great health suite

No sausages left at breakfast and staff were rushing about had to ask for coffee and tea

Staff were okay but not very helpful or cheerful. Felt like in a hospital.

Cons:

Room was covered in cobwebs from wall to wall at ceiling height. Very outdated rooms with little to no proper clean. One toilet roll left per room, had to ask reception for me. By the next day the cleaning staff took back additional toilet roll that had been requested and left a roll in bathroom & folded it over to look clean.

Overnighter.
Pros:

The stay was lovely. We went mainly for the Spa, the room was nice and big.

Cons:

The only let down was the quality of the breakfast and the service let it down a bit, my wife waited 20 min for poached eggs by which time I was finished my breakfast.

Ok for one night but wouldnt rush back.
Pros:

The room size was great bed was comfortable.

Cons:

Wasn’t the cleanest of rooms very dusty. The table was dirty and sticky and there was hair in the bathroom. Yes i asked for it to be cleaned but wasn’t done properly.
