Hôtel familial fantastique
Pros:

Séjour juste parfait dans cet hôtel familial. Nous étions avec notre bébé de 9 mois et tout a été fait pour nous faciliter la vie. Le personnel a été adorable et de très bons conseils. Nous avons dîner au restaurant de l'hôtel tous les soirs et c'était très bon. Des vacances reposantes et parfaites.

Was lovely would definitely come back
Pros:

Extremely clean, very central location, quiet and comfortable

Cons:

The only real disappointment was the breakfast it was mainly cereal and bread. No oats or Bircher.

Pros:

Placée à deux pas de la gare de Grindelwald. Parfait pour rejoindre la gare Terminal et accéder au télé‑cabine Eiger‑Express. Petit‑déjeuner copieux et très bon. Le restaurant de l’hôtel vaut le coup. Chambre impeccable avec un petit balcon. Séjour très agréable avec un personnel aux petits soins.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it and would be happy to return
Pros:

The hotel’s location is excellent: very close to the train station, yet slightly uphill. Thanks to this, the hotel is still right in the center of the village but much quieter, with beautiful views all around. A big plus is that the hotel also has its own parking.
The staff at the reception and in the restaurant are extremely friendly and welcoming. They provide detailed information not only about the hotel but also about everything available in the village, which makes the stay even more pleasant.
The room was very clean and comfortable. Simple in style but well thought out and equipped with everything you might need: a kettle, tea and coffee, a water carafe, a safe, TV, hairdryer, an extra pillow, and plenty of hangers in the wardrobe. In my single room, there was a work desk with a chair, as well as a small round table with an armchair. The large balcony was absolutely wonderful, offering a fantastic view, and it was furnished with a table and a chair. The bathroom with shower, sink, and toilet was perfectly sized and practical. Guests who usually use hair conditioner should also bring their own, as it is not included in the standard toiletries.
One of the highlights of the hotel is the beautiful relaxation lounge. It is a truly lovely space with several comfortable sofas, a round table, a massage chair, many books, board games, puzzles, and live indoor plants. The lounge also opens onto a terrace with a breathtaking view.
The entire hotel is very tastefully and originally decorated (a lot of small trains). You can really feel that everything has been done with care and love.
The European-style breakfast is good and suitable for both adults and children.

Cons:

The only small inconvenience for me personally was the liquid soap, which was a bit difficult to open. A pump bottle would have been more convenient, but this is purely a personal preference.

Basic comfortable stay.
Pros:

Close to centre and station.

Cons:

Being woken up at 6:30 by the truck collecting empty drinks dispensers and delivering fresh supplies. Also clearing the driveway of snow early morning waking us again. No hooks in the bedroom to hang skiware and limited choice of breakfast fare.

Great stay at Hotel Alpina.
Pros:

Great location, but up the hill from main street, so quieter. Great dinner and nice breakfasts. Excellent, attentive staff. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Have washer/dryer on location to do laundry. Will come again!

Beautiful location, great facilities and friendly staff
Pros:

Good location, with a beautiful view of the mountains surrounding the village. Facilities are nice and staff are also very friendly. Breakfast was also good and our stay was really enjoyable.

Cons:

Nothing really. The hotel is on top of an incline of a hill so just to note for those people who may find walking uphill difficult.

Confortable et sportif.
Pros:

L'emplacement est bien situé, au centre ville et en hauteur par rapport à la rue principale, c'est à la fois calme et avec tous les commerces et services, proches. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et varié et en self service. La chambre était en étage avec ascenseur, spacieuse, vue sur la ville et le paysage du massif de l'Eiger, splendide. Le diner est varié et la cuisine bien faite avec passion.

Wir werden gerne wieder in das Hotel Alpina gehen.
Pros:

Sehr feines Frühstück, alles was es braucht. Sehr freundliches zuvorkommendes und familiäres Hotel. Schöner Ausblick auf die Berge. Schnell am Bahnhof.

Cons:

Wir haben eine sehr feines Abendessen genossen. Essen hätte etwas wärmer sein dürfen.

Lage nahe Bahnhof und trotzdem ruhig und zentral. Am Hang gute Aussicht.Fruehstück akzeptabel.
