Casa Mateo tiene una excelente ubicacion y las instrucciones para el check in fueron muy claras y detalladas. La casa tiene un estilo muy clasico con areas verdes al interior y lass habitaciones son espaciosas con todo lo necesario, super funcional, limpio y con suficiente privacidad.
A pesar de no ver a nadie, hubo una comunicacion constante y nada fallo.
Creo que en general mantenimiento de las areas, todo funciona bien pero ya luce desgastado, las puertas estan un poco duras, las paredes un poquito manchadas, etc...
Estaba bien preparada y cómoda para nosotros ! Todo muy lindo y limpio

The bed was comfortable, but the room was not the one that showed when booking.
Besides the weak internet, the room was very hot, with no AC, making it uncomfortable to stay in. There was a fav in the room that made a loud noise when turned on. It was also difficult to locate Room #15, which added to the inconvenience. It was located three floors up and the stairs are very slippery. Anyone with a disability, would find this very challenging. I wrote messages and received no response. I also tried calling, but the provided number didn’t seem to work. Overall, the lack of communication and amenities made for a frustrating experience.
The room assigned to me was not the one shown in the pictures, which was disappointing. While the room was comfortable, the internet strength was extremely weak, making it impossible to work online. I left several messages regarding these issues, but unfortunately, they went unanswered. This lack of communication was frustrating

Really nice room for the price. Was clean when we arrived and very spacious. Large kitchen, everything you need and in a safe location near the main road.
No aircon, the room was hot throughout the day. They wouldn’t replenish toilet paper or soap. After one soap and 2 toilet rolls you have to replace your self.
Nothing
Although I was informed that the room did not have air conditioning, this was not the main issue. The real problem is that the design and materials of the room turn it into a solar oven, with completely unbearable temperatures. To give you an idea, my phone refused to charge because it was outside its operating temperature due to the excessive heat in the room.

Huge room which was very clean, was equipped with all you need and had a nice design. The hotel is in a great neighbourhood and walking distance to a lot of great cafes and restaurants. It was also very quiet at night, which made me sleep like a baby. Value for money as excellent as well!
Communication with the property felt very impersonal and it took them some time to reply. Even if I liked my room, it was rather dark as it faced an inner courtyard. Not a big problem but if you like lots of light make sure to book an upstairs room.

Location at the edge of Colonia Americana so a lot of nice bars and restaurants closeby, responsive staff and affordable
Looks as on the picture as effort is put on making things look nice, but everything is a bit run down.
When we wanted to go to sleep the first night, we noticed that the bed and the sheets were covered in black hairs and spots (also one towel was dirty). However once we reported this to the staff, we were helped quite quickly the day after and got some cooking as apologies.
