Stay was good but need the essential requirements mentioned above.
Pros:

Staff was attentive and close to shops. A/c was good and Wi-Fi was really good. Close to Sri Maha bodiya and Ruwanwelisaya. Overall, the stay was good. Staff was very friendly.

Cons:

Room did not have a kettle or tea/coffee and even for the bed tea had to order and chargeable. Rooms should have basic needs like proper drinking glass (not a plastic cup) a set of fork, spoon, knife, plate and tissues. But these were made available when requested.
Please treat this as a constructive review with the hope of helping to improve further. and the overall stay can be rated as good.

Reasonable price
Pros:

A little hard to find for the first timer, but the room is big enough.

Cons:

Staff cannot answer me about which bus I have to take if I want to go to Jaffna, so I need to find this info by myself.

Good for a quick stopover!
Pros:

Stayed for 1 night passing through.
Arrived late (12am) and late check in accommodated for- thankyou!
Friendly staff.
Comfy room.
Close to main city.
Suitable for 1 night stay- very basic but acceptable for the value.

Cons:

Slightly different location to Google Maps pinpoint.

Decent for the price though we've had better in the country.

Cons:

Too pushy on sales for our liking, on top of being on the expensive side. Unpleasant to be seen as a wallet. Hard to load devices on the shady plugs. Hot water in the bathroom was at 43+ minimum - scorching hot.

Great stay in Anuradhapura — super friendly, clean, central, and excellent value!
Pros:

Our stay at David Villa in Anuradhapura was great! My friend and I booked two rooms and felt at home from the first minute. The host and staff are super friendly — the kind of people who make you smile before you even had your morning tea.
The place is very clean, centrally located, and you can reach everything on foot (which is perfect after a big Sri Lankan dinner 😄). The price–performance ratio is excellent.
If you’re looking for a comfortable stay right in the heart of Anuradhapura, I can wholeheartedly recommend David Villa!
