Beautifully located, charming building, lovely staff
Location, breakfast, and the dining and pub option were great.
Room was a bit cramped, more of a cabin than expected inn.
The beds were exceptionally comfortable & the cooked breakfast was nice as well. We stayed in room 5, which was clean and quiet, with a nice view. Dinner at Boots Bar was great and the location can't be beat, of course.
Everything was fine and, while it's to be expected, the price point was high.
staff are very accommodating, friendly and approachable
wifi. but that is okay
Free pint!
Weather was wild.
Breakfast was good, the lodging itself was fine; especially for the semi-remote location that it is in. Being near Hagrid's Hut is pretty amazing (even though the hut itself is no longer there). That was the reason we booked Claichaig Inn. About a 10-minute hike.
First thing: the staff almost lost our reservation, which means we were almost left without a place to stay, even though we paid for it. Thank goodness they found it. Second location, location, location. Glencoe is beautiful country, but there simply is not much near Claichaig Inn, unless you like hiking (or Harry Potter). However, the location suited us just fine for our own purposes. Third, minor thing: the dining room was a bit crowded. We had no place to sit in the evening, and we ended up just not doing it. We took up the last available table at breakfast.
