Sehr gute Ausgangslage für Wanderungen, Busse, Gebirgsexpress (Fahrten zum Hochwald, Töpfer und Burg Oybin) und Schmalspurbahn in wenigen Metern zu erreichen

Trotz alle dem war es ein sehr schönes Wochenende, der Oybin ist einfach schön.
Pros:

Das Frühstück war sehr gut, seit langem mal wieder ein Hotel, wo es zum Frühstück richtige gute Fleischerwurst gab und keine abgepackte Discounterwurst. Es wurde auch vom Service während des Frühstücks gefragt ob noch was gebraucht wird, sehr guter Sevice. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl.

Cons:

Uns hat nicht gefallen das im Zimmer nur 1 Steckdose an der Tür gab, es waren keine am Bett oder anderswo, wir baten dann um eine Verlängerungsschnur um unser Handy zu laden.
Und natürlich war nicht so schön das dort die Restaurantes schon 18.00 Küchenschluss hatten und alle Gaststätten 19.00/19.30 geschlossen hatten, aus Personalmangel. Traurig

Die Lage ist wunderschön, ebenso wie weiter entfernte Orte, z. B. in Jonsdorf.
Die Menschen, denen ich begegnet bin und mit denen ich gesprochen habe, waren sehr nett, freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

1) Die Begrüßung war überhaupt nicht herzlich; ich kam pünktlich um 19 Uhr an (Check-in war bis 20 Uhr möglich), das Hotel war geschlossen, niemand war da, nach langwierigen Telefonaten kam die Besitzerin endlich und ... sie sagte, sie habe viel zu tun, es klang, als würde ich sie (als Kunde) stören, sie war ziemlich unfreundlich, obwohl wir insgesamt nur zu fünft im Hotel waren, sollte sie eher froh über jeden Kunden sein. Ich habe wirklich schon lange niemanden mehr getroffen, der so unangenehm war.
2) Ich habe ein Einzelzimmer gebucht und bestätigt bekommen, das auch mit einer Besonderheit beworben wurde. ich glaube, es sollte eine Sauna oder so etwas geben, was aber nicht so wichtig ist. Wichtiger ist, dass mir ohne Erklärung ein Doppelzimmer zugewiesen wurde, in dem eines der Betten so verpackt war, dass ich es auf keinen Fall wählen würde, und nur das andere bereitstand, das mir aufgrund seiner Lage nicht zusagte.
3) Die Kissen sind so weich, dass man beim Auflegen des Kopfes durch sie hindurch auf das Laken sinkt.
4) Obwohl das Hotel auf beiden Seiten von Straßen umgeben ist, von denen eine eine Hauptstraße ist, sind die Fenster absolut dicht und es dringt kein Lärm von draußen herein. Das gilt jedoch nicht für das Innere, wo man manchmal Geräusche aus den Nachbarzimmern hört.
5) Manchmal fiel auch das WLAN-Netz aus.

Ein Hotel zum Wohlfühlen
Pros:

Ich war zur Historik Mobil für das Wochenende dort und habe Oybin als Ausgangspunkt ausgewählt. Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe des Bahnhofs. Das Zimmer war überraschend groß und trotz zentraler Lage sehr ruhig. Den Parkplatz hatte ich direkt am Hotel. Vor Ort habe ich das Frühstück dazu gebucht - kann ich jedem nur empfehlen. Sehr vielfältig und schönes Ambiente. Das Personal war sehr freundlich - insgesamt ein sehr gelungener Aufenthalt.

The bus station was around the corner, great breakfast and and the castle is also in the near. Good starting point for hikes.
