The staff were professional and yet friendly, welcoming and willing to assist. The room's are clean, and well taken care off with ample space and room. The location is good for those that want to escape the city center and the buzzing lights.

Nice relax time in the vicinity of Pretoria

The hotel is situated within a secure, fenced area at the Maropeng Visitor Centre. It features spacious rooms with private terraces and an on-site restaurant. The breakfast was outstanding, and the overall food quality was excellent, with the chef showcasing exceptional skill in everything from perfectly prepared meats to flavorful sauces. The staff were incredibly friendly, making the stay thoroughly enjoyable. Overall, it is a wonderful hotel.

1. Proximity to Maropeng Visitors Center.
2. Peaceful and secluded.
3. Complimentary water in the room.

Cons:

There was the noise of non-stop running water somewhere near the bath facilities that I could not locate, and this constant sound was a bit of an attention depleter.

Overall disappointed. Would not recommend this hotel
Pros:

We stayed over for our anniversary - I mentioned this beforehand to reception. They arranged for a complimentary bottle of wine in the room and the room and bed was covered in rose petals- nice touch

Cons:

The upkeep of the facilities leave a lot to be desired. Plastic chairs on the porch were broken, room doors badly damaged from exposure, woodwork needs lots of TLC, room carpet damaged, etc. Not at 4 star level - or even 3 star.
Lunch was reasonable. Dinner was disappointing. My Rib eye steak was so tough you could resole your shoes with it. Soft fried eggs at breakfast were easy over. Coffee is undrinkable
