Great location, delicious and complete breakfast, and very helpful and kind staff made the stay very enjoyable.

The hotel has a great location, making it easy to access nearby attractions and transportation. The breakfast was delicious and very complete, offering a good variety of options to start the day. Excellent stay with very helpful staff, great breakfast with a city view, and clean,comfortable room
Pros:

I had a perfect stay at RUA World Hotel in Van. The staff’s behavior was exceptional — genuinely helpful and caring, not just polite on the surface.

The breakfast was outstanding, honestly the best I’ve experienced in my last 6–7 stays in Van, especially considering hotels in the same price range. The restaurant also offers a beautiful city view.

The room was very clean and well designed, with an excellent temperature control system and a great view of the city. Parking was also very convenient; the staff brought the car to the front whenever requested.

As someone who has visited Van many times, I can confidently say this hotel is the best choice, even when compared to similar or more expensive hotels.

Cons:

The only minor drawback was that the lobby and entrance are relatively small compared to the rest of the hotel, but this was not important to me and did not affect the overall experience.

The guy in reception who was the tallest one wasn’t helpful and he gave me wrong advice on hiring car or getting taxi , he could of say: I don’t know, instead of giving me a wrong information! Be careful guys

Pros:

Variety of breakfast options for everyone as my little girl is very fussy in food but she loved her breakfast.

Cons:

Only one of the staff who was the tallest guy at the reception were given us very wrong information about hiring car and also not helpful at all but all the rest of the staff were amazing and so helpful, polite and respectful

Excellent location, very helpful personnel, nice rooms, delicious breakfast! Recommended!
Pros:

In September 2025, I have stayed 4 nights in Rua World Hotel in Van. Overall, my experience has been very positive.

1) The breakfast is an extremely strong point. There is a huge choice of food and the products are fresh and tasty. Locally produced cheese and locally grown melons are delicious. When something seems to run out, it is being supplemented quickly. It is nice that breakfast starts early and you can easily get through a very large part of the day on this excellent and filling breakfast only. Furthermore, the view (lake Van and Van castle in the distance) from the breakfast room at the top floor is very nice.

2) The location is very good and extremely practical. The hotel is in the centre of Van and opposite the governor’s office. The neighbourhood is safe and this holds for the evening hours too. Within walking distance, there are more than enough shops and eateries present. Besides, practically before the hotel entrance, there is a minibus stop. From here, you can go directly to all the main places of interest in Van itself and to the bus station for e.g., minibuses to Akdamar and long-range buses.

3) The personnel is very friendly and helpful. Although nobody spoke English, this has absolutely never been a problem at all. Everything could be managed without any difficulties. Also online, communication has run really well and, actually, this was fully in good English. Answers were provided fast and possible unnecessary misunderstandings were already being avoided beforehand. A special word of thanks goes to Tuğba for her patient guidance regarding several issues.

4) The room was very clean and large. The beds were really good and in the bathroom, hot water was always present. Air conditioning worked very well. Availability of a fridge, free tea, coffee and water (in bottles) was also super handy.

I am very satisfied with my stay in Rua World Hotel in Van. Therefore, I can definitely recommend this hotel to other travellers.
