A richly comfortable automated experience
Pros:

Perfectly located for immediate access to Canterbury's heart and impeccably kept. Exceptionally fresh, clean, and modern. An excellent memory mattress, coffee machine with good quality offerings, options on mood lighting in both bedroom and bathroom, and given the location, pin-drop quiet at all times (a real boon). Access was easy and it was well serviced.

Cons:

Private parking was advertised but isn't the case. When questioned there was no apology - told I needed to take that up with whomever my booking service was and given a link to the Council website for carparks. I felt the owners should take responsibility for their advertisements on all platforms, not the customer. Communication through SMS/email was obviously automated, with no personal touch or any way to communicate directly.

Nice little spot
Pros:

Location was good.

Cons:

Sorry to nit pick but would have been nice to get tea bags, not just coffee.
Maybe a kettle to make tea with.

No front desk or luggage storage, and so not really a hotel. Lovely room (if small), great location.
Pros:

Very well-appointed (small) room, with lots of thoughtful touches. The bathroom was especially nice, with mood lighting in the shower and nice bath products. Plenty of outlets and a Nespresso machine with four pods and milk packets/sugars.

Cons:

No front desk or luggage storage, which we discovered only after booking our non-refundable stay. In that sense, I don't think it's right to call this a hotel at all, as that word (to me) implies those facilities.

Perfect location and fantastic room with everything you need.
Pros:

Fantastic stay. Very comfortable bed and really nice bathroom. Great coffee machine and coffee and water bottles replenished every day.

Vus de la fenetre sur la cathédrale!

Cons:

Seul problème: le bruit du bar voisin jusqu’à 11h une journée (mercredi) et jusqu’à 11h30 le jeudi.
Si vous vous coucher tôt et vous levez tôt, le bruit très fort empêche de dormir et cette localisation n’est pas pour vous: 2 sur 5 pour le sommeil.

Overall, it was a good experience.

Great location. Ideally situated in the High Street. Close to pubs, shops and all amenities.
Pros:

Jederzeit wieder!
Pros:

Das kleine Hoel mit vier Zimmern liegt mitten in der Altstadt von Canterbury, in der Umgebung zahlreiche gute Lokale (z.B. das "Cricketer" mit sehr gutem Fish and Chips oder das Mezze mit sehr gutem türkisch-zypriotischem Essen) und fußläufig in wenigen Minuten zur Kathedrale (der Eintritt für einen Erwachsenen liegt bei 18 Pfund, dafür ist das Ticket ein ganzes Jahr gültig). Eine direkte Anfahrt zum Hotel ist kaum möglich, aber gleich ums Eck gibt es einen kostenpflichtigen (und relativ teuren - 25 Pfund für 16 Stunden) öffentlichen Parkplatz.
Die etwas verborgene Eingangstür zum Hotel findet man dank der guten Beschreibung recht schnell, die Zugangscodes zum Gebäude und den Zimmern wurden uns vorab geschickt.
Die Zimmer selbst sind bequem und gut ausgestattet, die Bäder modern und relativ groß. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in jedem Fall eine Empfehlung.

Cons:

Im Gegensatz zu unserem ersten Aufenthalt hier hatten wir dieses Mal ein kleineres Doppelzimmer (Zimmer 3), das leider sehr schmal geschnitten ist. Zwischen dem Doppelbett und den Wänden war rechts und links nur ca. 30 Zentimeter Platz, da sollte man nicht ganz ungelenk sein. Das Zimmer insgesamt auch überschaubar groß. Ablagen waren dementsprechend Mangelware, die Koffer/Taschen fanden nur auf dem Boden Platz. Die Zimmer 2 und 4 sind komfortabler und zum Teil auch größer geschnitten. Für eine Nacht aber durchaus machbar.

I would stay here again. But maybe not on a Saturday night.
Pros:

The apartment is very clean and the bedrooms along with the bath are generously sized. The kitchen is well equipped and the snacks were a nice touch. The owner’s responsiveness was excellent.

Cons:

A popular bar is below the apartment. It’s wasn’t much of an issue including New Years Eve. But Saturday night…WOW!! It was really loud. I thought of lowering my review score based up this. However, given that it was only 1 of 5 nights, the otherwise perfect location is enough to offset the noise that night.
