The Agora Hotel - Small Luxury Hotel of the World - Adults Only

The agora hotel is beautiful - tastefully decorated, comfortable and homely. The pool area was relaxing and every meal we had was delicious! The staff were so friendly and helpful. In particular Richard was incredibly helpful in organising us a winery visit, taxis and recommendations for activities in the area. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The Agora is one of those places that quietly gets on with being very good indeed. No fanfare, no desperate lunging for ‘design hotel’ status, just a beautifully restored building sitting prettily in the cobbled lanes of Pano Lefkara, with interiors that have clearly been thought about but not overthought. It’s charming without trying to charm you, which is rarer than it should be.

The staff here are the thing. The team has mastered that elusive sweet spot - friendly, open, and genuinely interested, without a whiff of fawning. No one’s hovering, no one’s reciting lines. It all feels refreshingly human. And then there’s Celine, the Guest Experience Manager, who moves through it all with quiet assurance, quietly fixing, smoothing, and generally making everything work as it should. Every hotel needs a Celine; not all are lucky enough to have one. Notably, the staff spoke warmly of the owners, and investment at the top tends to show at every level.

I found myself falling into an easy rhythm at Novél, the hotel’s restaurant; dinner every evening, breakfast every morning - which is not something I do lightly. The food is Mediterranean in that unfussy, ingredient-led way that sounds simple but so often isn’t. Here, it just works. Plates arrive as they should: well judged, generous, and, most importantly, consistently delicious. Service, again, hits that same measured note - present but never performative.

My Petite room was smartly laid out; two people could manage it comfortably. One gripe: no full-length mirror. In an otherwise thoughtfully curated property, a baffling omission.

For those tired of hollow luxury and its attendant performance, and who’d rather have something more grounded - genuine warmth, good food, and a sense that people actually care - the Agora more than delivers.

From arranging the golf cart pickup to sorting out any requests we had, it was seamless.

Very helpful staff and incredible hospitality.

Adults only was by far the best getaway from other people’s children!

Small but nice mini hotel: I would say family cozy hotel "hygge style". Perfect location, nice a-la cart breakfast, cozy rooms with nice coffee and aqua panna water strictly in a glass bottles. Comfortable mattress and pillows. Nice blue-tooth music system. All is to make you to feel cozy. Like at home. Will definitely come back there.

The only thing is the bathroom size but honestly it was fine!

We visited the restaurant for Sunday lunch. The waiters weren’t experienced and they couldn’t explain the menu. I had a burger that had no taste. The fries were very oily.

We had a wonderful time at the Agora Hotel. You will be greeted with warmth and kindness from the staff who go above and beyond to make your stay fabulous! Our stay was a very last minute booking. A perfect location, perfect rooms, very comfy beds for a good night's sleep, very clean rooms, amenities wonderful, the bar inviting, the restaurant delightful. The food in the restaurant was incredible, the service was super friendly, attentive, and welcoming. If we could give more than 5*Stars we would. We hope to be back again. A 20 minute drive from Larnaca Airport, as well which is handy. if you need to stay near the airport for an onward journey. Thank you for making our stay so special, Simon & John (3rd March)

For corporates - there is a study that is functional and a pleasure to work from.
For the holidayers - a private pool.
