The location is in the very center, one can park at the streets close to the hotel for free. The rooms have a table to use the laptop. The view from the rooms over the city is stunning.
The staff in the evening could not speak English. The WiFi did not work in the hotel room and the WiFi in the hotel lobby was dog slow and had several breakages. Unfortunately, for a business stay the hotel can therefore not be recommended. In the room was no air conditioner to heat and the electric oven did not have power to heat the room up quickly. (Its was first warm once I left the room the next morning).
Abszolút csúcs!
Very fast and straightforward check-in and check-out, great, convenient location, spacious room with good shower, amazing views from the balcony.
Price was very good (35 euros). Staff were kind and friendly.
The building is 1965-1970, untouched since creation.
No air conditioning, just a desk fan in the room, but it was 28-30'c inside.
The building feels abandoned. On the floor above me was a wedding-type party from 8pm to 1am
There was no tea/ coffee facility in the room, just a closed bar that the receptionists kindly served me from.
In my view this is not a hotel that should be on the site. It needs 10-15mli euro l investment to be a 2 or 3 star hotel.but without it, it's like an authentic monument from the communist era.
The property is on a great location. 5 minutes to the railway station by foot and 10 minutes to the center. Since the hotel is built during the socialism, I was expecting for it to be old and dusty, but the room that I was in, was fully renovated and pretty clean. I was on the 11th floor and the view of the whole city was mesmerising.
Only I had one out of six towels that had some red stains and the second pillow from the wardrobe smelled like woman perfume.
It used to be a nice hotel.
The staff is nice and that’s about it.
There is no A/C and one can boil to death in the scorching heat.
The staff is nice though.
Wi fi is almost non existent so buy a local sim , they are very cheap. Overall , you get what you pay for.
Everything except the staff and the nice view.
Awful folk music from the restaurant 12 floors below.
