Perfect place to enjoy the Peak District

Pros:

We had a very spacious room which was quite cool considering the extremely high temperature outside.
The inn was in a very pretty location by the river, with ducks and geese, lots of activities for children and plenty of outside seating.

Cons:

Although the room was lovely it only had white venetian blinds which meant the bedroom was very light before 5am and woke us early.
The location was a bit out of the way.

Pros:

Everything was extremely clean and comfortable, we had the room with the balcony overlooking the mill wheel, lovely to have some outside space.

Cons:

The food was delicious, service was excellent but in my opinion food was overpriced, especially the cost of a desert.8

What a gem of an inn, sad that we only had one night, will definitely visit again, such a beautiful interesting place.

The cleanliness, and the beautiful location.

Cons:

The heat in the hut. Just something to be aware of there is no ACon unit only a fan. Also would be great to have a mini fridge in the current high temperatures.

מקום שקט ונחמד ליד נחל קטן שזורם. מאד נעים לשבת בחוץ. חלק מהמבקרים במקום באים לפאב. ארוחת בוקר בסדר גמור. גם האוכל שהזמנו בערב היה טעים. חייבים מכונית כדי להגיע למקום.

Perfect
Pros:

Everything. What an amazing find. Loved our stay here in the countryside. Perfect setting. Lovely old pub with lovely staff who made us feel very welcome. Stayed in one of the shepards hut at the back of the pub which was really cosy and comfortable.

Cons:

Nothing. But it was hot so a small fridge would of been nice.

Nice base for the Peaks
Pros:

Nice setting and friendly staff. Excellent full English breakfast. The food here was better than I expected.

Cons:

There was a noisy extractor fan or generator close to the room. Fortunately this did go off later in the evening.
