Breakfast 👍
The bed was uncomfortable and needed a fitted sheet
We could not make the tv work
As always, the Little Mill nails it. Well done for everything you do for us guests and the wider community. Love the local vibe
Less rain please
Beautiful room clean and comfortable
Very comfortable, extremely clean and even though upstairs in the pub no noise at all. The breakfast was spot on but it had to be pre-ordered. Lovely view of the water wheel.
Nothing to dislike
Excellent friendly staff. Really good food
The staff were amazing.
The food was excellent and portions generous.
The room.was extremely comfortable

Location, staff. Landlord very accommodating as we came with a large trailer and it helped us park in secure overnight.
Felt a bit awkward at breakfast as there was a different owner or manager they’re working on his laptop and seem to be quite bossy to the staff and getting involved in everything which was a bit offputting as we were just trying to enjoy our breakfast
Great room comfortable bed brilliant range of tea and coffees, the biscuit was a nice touch. Loved the animals and close proximity to some brilliant walks in the peaks. Remote location was nice.
No coat hooks, or coffee machine however that is me being slightly picky. Food was good however £10 for a dessert was out of our reach and £30 for a bottle of wine was on the steep side…
Attentive staff, warm, welcoming and nothing was to much. Rooms were clean, and well servived. Dinner by the fire was so lovely, delicious food. top breakfast, amazing value all round. we'll be back!

Lovely evening meal with log fire. Reasonable choice for gluten free. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room adequate for our needs.
Water in shower needed to be hotter. However if we had chosen the hotel for a leisure break we would have been disappointed with our view.
Sadly we had to rush our breakfast because we were on a tight time schedule which was a shame because the breakfast was excellent and plentiful but service didn’t start until 08.30.
The staff were very welcoming on arrival and throughout the 4 days we were there. 10/10
The food was first class .We had 3 breakfasts and one evening meal. All were excellent. 10/10.
Parking facilities were great and there is a very good atmosphere there. The local taxis we used were great. 10/10
We were at a wedding in Hayfield and the four taxis we used were prompt and reliable.
We are not used to sharing the corridors to our room. with dogs so although they were generally well behaved we would have preferred not to see or hear them in the main hotel.
The location was beautiful The food was amazing All members of our family loved it too
