Great choice for a visit to the area.
Pros:

Although a modest size the layout of the hotel was vey pleasing with plenty of plants surrounding the central pool and rooms. The staff were helpful and friendly, providing frogs and umbrellas! The meals were all very good. A short walk to the very modest beach but we didn't have the weather for that!

Cons:

Everything was fine.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit, schöne Anlage, tolle Lage in der Natur unweit eines einsamen Strandes. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich. Unsere Klimaanlage hat nicht funktioniert und man gab es sofort eine wunderbare Alternative. Wir sind sehr glücklich mit dem Aufenthalt. Das Frühstück war auch toll!

Luxury but needs fine tuning
Pros:

Private hotel and relaxed. Staff were friendly and the decor was nice

Cons:

Limited breakfast options and all rooms offer limited privacy/ overlooked due to courtyard set up. No minibar/ fridge and no backup generator (for when the power goes out all night - this means you may have to stay in the dark with no wifi, no ability to charge devices or get water refills (as this needs electricity)). Also, the safe wasn’t bolted down so could easily be picked up and walked out.

Besonders gefallen hat mir, dass die Natur komplett in das Hotel integriert wurde – überall viel Grün und selbst im Zimmer fühlt man sich wie mitten im Regenwald. Alles war sehr sauber und das Personal freundlich und aufmerksam. Auch das angebotene Essen war lecker.

Cons:

Für mich stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in diesem Hotel klar nicht. Es wird als Fünf-Sterne-Hotel geführt, erfüllt diesen Anspruch meiner Meinung nach jedoch nicht. Die Anlage ist sehr klein und kompakt, was für den aufgerufenen Preis enttäuschend ist. Besonders gravierend war die Lautstärke bei starkem Regen – das Zimmer war so hellhörig, dass man nachts bei einem Sturzregen definitiv wach wird.
Zudem fehlen für diese Preisklasse grundlegende Annehmlichkeiten wie eine richtige Kaffeemaschine oder eine ausgestattete Minibar. Selbst beim Frühstück wurde ein Cappuccino mit „it’s not included“ zusätzlich berechnet. Es geht mir dabei nicht ums Geld – wer ein Hotel in dieser Kategorie bucht, kann sich das leisten – sondern um das Prinzip. Wenn für nahezu jede Kleinigkeit extra kassiert wird und Speisen sowie Getränke sehr hoch bepreist sind, leidet das Wohlfühlgefühl deutlich.

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was very disappointing and far below acceptable standards.
The biggest issue was the poor organization and lack of professionalism of the staff. Communication was extremely weak: important problems were not explained to guests, and no proactive information was provided. When issues occurred, the staff seemed unprepared and unable (or unwilling) to offer any solutions or alternatives.
Noise was another serious problem. The hotel was very loud, making it difficult to rest at any time of day. The noise came not only from the roof area, but also from monkeys nearby, which were extremely loud, especially early in the morning. This made proper sleep almost impossible.
During my stay, there was one full day without running water and another day without electricity. What made this even worse was the complete lack of communication from the hotel. Guests were not informed in advance, no explanations were given, and no alternative arrangements or compensation were offered. Being left without basic utilities like water and power, with no information or support, is simply unacceptable.
Overall, the hotel failed to provide even basic comfort and guest care. Due to the constant noise, weak WiFi, unprofessional staff, and serious infrastructure issues, I cannot recommend this place. With better management, communication, and respect for guests, this hotel could improve. However in its current state, it does not meet reasonable expectations.

Das Personal war jederzeit extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Ambiente im Hotel war sehr schön. Das Frühstück war gut. Die Getränkeauswahl am Abend war sehr gut,

Cons:

Regen hört man aufgrund der Dachkonstruktion sehr laut im Zimmer. Der Strandabschnitt des Hotels ist nicht geeignet zum Baden. Es soll wohl auch gefährliche Strömungen geben. Hierzu sollten die Gäste vom Hotelpersonal informiert werden. Auch das es ein Partner-Hotel an einem anderen Strand gibt, in dem man die Liegen und den Service am Strand nutzen kann, sollte man den Gästen berichten.

Bestes Hotel auf unserer Reise durch Costa Rica. The Place to be.
Pros:

Super Areal, nur 15 Zimmer 👌 wunderbar eingerichtet - alles eine einzige grüne Oase.
Tatsächlich nur 300 Fußmeter zum Meer.
Super nettes Personal, sehr gutes Frühstück und auch Abendessen.
Wir sind eine Nacht länger geblieben als geplant 🙏
