Toller Bade- und Motorroller- Spaß auf Elba
Pros:

Zimmer mit Balkon und Meerblick. 20 m vom Meer entfernt.

Cons:

Sant Andrea ist ein hübscher kleiner Ort... aber eben doch recht klein. Zur Bushaltestelle muß an 1,5 km bergauf gehen.

Kulthotel in Sant‘ Andrea
Pros:

Das Hotel Barsalini ist ein Kulthotel mit dem Charme der 50er Jahre. Perfekte Lage nahe des schönen Sandstrandes, Meerblick, kleiner Balkon, typisch italienisches Frühstück auf einer Terrasse ebenfalls mit Meerblick.
Freundliches, deutsch sprechendes Personal. Kleiner Supermarkt am Haus und Strandbistro mit guter Küche.

Cons:

Zum 50 er Jahre Charme gehört eventuell auch, dass das Wasser etwas zögerlich fliesst und lange braucht, um warm zu werden.

Nice stay
Pros:

Solid 3 stars Hotel with everything we needed. Literally next to the beach. Also has a swimming pool (which we used on a day in which there were many jelly fishes). Clean, comfortable, very nice cleaning lady. Nice breakfast.

Cons:

It's a bit old, do not expect luxury. Sant'Andrea is quite small - there are a few (basic) restaurant options, but for anything more fancy, a bit of shops etc a car is needed (the closest place is Marciana at some 15 min drive).
