Schöner Blick über die gesamte Gegend
Frühstück war recht einfach, ausschließlich english breakfast
Room was fair, At last not a box room
BReakfast this time was only just warm, and portion size could have been a little larger.
Didn’t have evening meal this time, went out to dinner with my family.
MAttress far too soft, didn’t get a decent nights sleep, you could not turn over as you sank into the mattress.
Bathroom radiator heat far too hot. Dirt behind the sink pedestal very noticeable.
No bottled water.
ONly one chair to sit on.
ÈVerything is looking very tired at KC now. In need of update
Reception staff, where do you pick them from, I have yet to come across a happy smiling person who would have a friendly post.
first room rather. noisy. second. bungalow room very good. good location
checkout too early. breakfast too early
Lovely setting and convenient location, breakfast staff were so lovely and welcoming, food was nice enough for being included, bed was very comfy. Hair dryer and fan in the room was a good addition.
Shower was very odd with a door that didnt cover the whole shower, the lock didnt work either, theres no handle on the outside balcony door, no room service, the staff on reception were friendly enough but had to ask for all basic information that should be given without asking IE where the room was, where breakfast is served, etc
We upgraded to a bungalow but it wasn't value for money, as a premiere inn was higher standards and a lot cheaper when compared.
Location, parking was all good. Room was warm from the shower rail (although maybe too hot ha! Never can be happy!) window open and fan made it fine though. Shower had gold pressure. Break warm food was good, yogurts/orange was good. Breakfast room was very swish and fancy. Waitress was very attentive and polite. Good plug socket locations, lighting in the room was good. Wardrobe was a very good size. Space in the room was good. Enjoyed the traditional sliding windows.
Bed wasn't the most comfortable. WiFi was very slow. Quicker to watch netflix on my phone than on the WiFi.
Breakfast had no pastries which was disappointing.
At check out wasn't asked how my stay was, would normally have expected it.
Great good, fantastic staff, lovely clean accommodation

The property was very nice. Plenty of car parking space
I stayed for two nights ( Thursday and Friday) Thursday night was great. Unfortunately on Friday night there was an event that I was unaware of but the music finished at midnight so that was fine. Unfortunately my room was at the top of the stairs and the couple in a room near me was in and out of their room until 3.30ish. Very loud talking doors banging etc so I got very little sleep and had to drive back to London on Saturday.
Clean and comfy room , lovely breakfast and friendly staff .
Nothing at all
Lunch in tea room was very good and good value for money. Grounds were lovely and well kept. Breakfast was very good.
The ensuite in room 4 is a health hazard. The walls only go two thirds up and leave the room exposed to possible contamination. The door is glass and virtually see through.. Not a pleasant site seeing spouse on toilet. Shaving and showering. The shower is dangerous having to climb into steep bath and water sprays everywhere. Sink blocked and slow drainage. The room should immediately taken out of action. I intend to report to health and safety.
Nice room, recently refurbished, and linen good
Seems tired in public areas
Staff were friendly and helpful
Bed comfortable
Very noisy, bedroom door had huge gap under it and at side. Bathroom grout and floor were dirty. Toiletries tiny even for a one night stay.
The whole property is in need of a refurb.
Stayed in the bridal suite
Very nice room but had an invasion of ladybirds in the bay window
Views. Rooms were exceptional though heating could have been done to be turned down a bit. Food was delicious and the staff were some of the best I have come across.
Views, food and excellent clean rooms. Very friendly and accommodating staff
I loved the whole thing. Staff was so friendly. Food was amazing. The whole place was lovely and clean love the surroundings. The bed was so comfy. It’s the best night sleep I’ve had for years the breakfast is wow.
The grounds outside were the only good part of this hotel!
Unfortunately, the experience fell far below reasonable expectations, especially considering the £111 rate for the night.
Upon arrival, we discovered that our room was extremely small—more like a box room than a standard hotel room. The bed was rock hard and very uncomfortable, making it difficult to get any rest. The dressing table chair was so low that it was impossible to see anything beyond our eyes in the mirror, which was both impractical and frustrating.
We were also shocked to find that the room effectively had no real window. The only “window” looked into an internal hallway and did not open, making the room feel claustrophobic and lacking ventilation. Additionally, the carpet in the corner had clearly been cut and not properly refitted, which contributed to an overall poor standard of cleanliness and maintenance. The ceiling and lighting resembled an office rather than a hotel room, which further diminished the comfort of the stay.
