Pros:

We arrived late last night, and wanted to thank the lovely gentleman who did the night shift last night, he was great, really helpful and my son enjoyed his chat with him!. Room was lovely and the patio area was a nice addition. The breakfast was lovely and thanks to the staff who let my son check out later so I could work and he wasn't stuck wandering the area . That was really appreciated. The hotel is lovely, comfortable and we had a lovely breakfast to. Thanks all.

Cons:

Nothing not to like. We really liked it.

Not for me but as it was fully booked must be ok.
Pros:

Historic country house. Aesthetically pleasing. Very good parking. Friendly staff.
I enjoyed my evening meal and breakfast ok. Good value here -

Cons:

Room I had very small. The window on ground floor was opaque glass but half covered on the outside by massive storage box making the room very dark. Outside the window was a utility yard for the hotel.
I’m sure there are much better rooms but £99 was too much for this room. (even though breakfast included)

A lovely break in South Yorkshire!
Pros:

A very relaxing, quiet hotel on the edge of town. Very efficient yet friendly staff. Lovely well-kept grounds.

Cons:

Breakfast bacon very dry (warmed up?) But excellent poached egg.
Would prefer ordinary chips with "fish & chips" rather than wedges. The fish was excellent and a generous portion was served.

Pros:

Once change of room was made all good. If we had had to stay in the original bedroom room would have been rather uncomfortable.

Cons:

Confusion as to where breakfast was held. Need better signage

Somewhere to stay over night in the right area for visiting family.
Pros:

Room was fair, At last not a box room
BReakfast this time was only just warm, and portion size could have been a little larger.
Didn’t have evening meal this time, went out to dinner with my family.

Cons:

MAttress far too soft, didn’t get a decent nights sleep, you could not turn over as you sank into the mattress.
Bathroom radiator heat far too hot. Dirt behind the sink pedestal very noticeable.
No bottled water.
ONly one chair to sit on.
ÈVerything is looking very tired at KC now. In need of update
Reception staff, where do you pick them from, I have yet to come across a happy smiling person who would have a friendly post.

Nice but didnt find it worth the money.
Pros:

Lovely setting and convenient location, breakfast staff were so lovely and welcoming, food was nice enough for being included, bed was very comfy. Hair dryer and fan in the room was a good addition.

Cons:

Shower was very odd with a door that didnt cover the whole shower, the lock didnt work either, theres no handle on the outside balcony door, no room service, the staff on reception were friendly enough but had to ask for all basic information that should be given without asking IE where the room was, where breakfast is served, etc
We upgraded to a bungalow but it wasn't value for money, as a premiere inn was higher standards and a lot cheaper when compared.

A short stay but pleasant
Pros:

Location, parking was all good. Room was warm from the shower rail (although maybe too hot ha! Never can be happy!) window open and fan made it fine though. Shower had gold pressure. Break warm food was good, yogurts/orange was good. Breakfast room was very swish and fancy. Waitress was very attentive and polite. Good plug socket locations, lighting in the room was good. Wardrobe was a very good size. Space in the room was good. Enjoyed the traditional sliding windows.

Cons:

Bed wasn't the most comfortable. WiFi was very slow. Quicker to watch netflix on my phone than on the WiFi.
Breakfast had no pastries which was disappointing.
At check out wasn't asked how my stay was, would normally have expected it.

I was in Pontefract to visit my sick brother. The hotel is very close to his home
Pros:

The property was very nice. Plenty of car parking space

Cons:

I stayed for two nights ( Thursday and Friday) Thursday night was great. Unfortunately on Friday night there was an event that I was unaware of but the music finished at midnight so that was fine. Unfortunately my room was at the top of the stairs and the couple in a room near me was in and out of their room until 3.30ish. Very loud talking doors banging etc so I got very little sleep and had to drive back to London on Saturday.
