The people are very friendly and it's a nice location with a traditional pub.
The room's window looked out onto a corridor, the lighting was like being in an office and there were no bedside lights. During the night the A/C unit made a horrendous sound every 45 minutes which kept me awake all night. I did tell the staff at the front desk on check out and they were very apologetic.
Lovely grounds and staff clearly work very hard.
Event on, very very loud, we were staying for a wedding and barely slept due to the noise.
Very clean. Decor was fresh.
EV charger wasn't working despite staff efforts to resolve this.
Great location value for money fantastic breakfast friendly staff
Garden was nice
Our room was above wedding reception extremely loud music awful
Room tired
Food very average at best
Lovely hotel in gorgeous setting, well placed for Pontefract or if travelling through. Plenty of car parking and grounds are lovely. A place full of character with very friendly, helpful staff. Food was good and beds comfy.
Evening meal's were amazing, great value for money and the staff were very accommodating and helpful. plenty of place to sit either indoors or outside.
Lovely property
2 warm
Very well maintained gardens. Fan in bedroom on a hot day. Excellent evening meal and breakfast.
The mattress could have better but it was ok when lying on it. There was no door to the shower which meant getting the bathroom floor wet was unavoidable. The cubicle is designed without a door.
Convenient location and a lovely setting
No outside window in the room it opened on to an internal corridor and the buffet breakfast was limited and only just warm
The staff was so nice and accommodating to us, the breakfast and dinner was also very tasty. I would definitely stay there again, I'm sure it's very beautiful in the winter with snow.
There's no air-conditioning, which is ok, it was pretty cool outside, we had the windows opened and they supplied a room fan. I wasn't to big on the shower,
Location was stunning. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was lovely (changed due to a wedding)
Nothing to note
Everything! I travelled all the way from Scotland to enjoy again the Kings Croft Hotel's famous chicken wings!
Location, restaurant & particularly restaurant staff were lovely.
Not informed at Booking that there were two tribute acts plus disco until midnight.
Initial room booked totally unsuitable in heatwave, tiny, fan in room, no air-con. Was assured there was air-con when moved to different room .... Which there was NOT ... Again just a fan. At this stage after a 4hr drive for business and trawling from one end to the other of the hotel, opened window and just coped (better room size for fan to distribute hot air!!)
Fabulous staff fantastic hotel great location
Nothing it was marvellous
