Pros:

The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of the Old Town. It is just a few minutes' walk from the Old Bridge and the funicular leading up to the castle, making it a perfect base for exploring the city.

The room was spacious, and the beds were extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep after a day of sightseeing. The central location allowed us to easily reach the main attractions, restaurants, and cafes without needing transportation.

Overall, it is a convenient place to stay for anyone visiting the city.

Cons:

Although I was aware that the bathroom facilities were located outside the room, no one informed us that the toilet and shower were in two completely separate rooms on the hallway. This was quite inconvenient and not what we expected.

Another concern was the key system. We were given a single key that opened not only our room, but also the main entrance, the toilet room, and the shower room. This created the impression that anyone with access to the building could potentially access other areas as well, which did not feel very secure.

The hallway had an unpleasant smell, a mix of dampness and food odors. Fortunately, the room itself, as well as the shower and toilet facilities, were clean.

Both the shower room and the toilet room were quite small and lacked comfort. Considering the price paid for one night, I expected a higher standard of accommodation and facilities.

Finally, the lack of air conditioning is a significant drawback during the summer months, especially on warmer days.

Overall, the location is excellent and the room was comfortable, but several aspects of the facilities and overall value for money could be improved.

Pros:

Das Zimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet,ein grosses Badezimmer ,ein bequemes Bett und eine kleine Essecke mit Blick in die Gassen.Es gab die Möglichkeit Getränke zu kühlen,das hat an den heissen Tagen gut geholfen.
Direkter Zugang zur Hauptstrasse und fasst allen Sehenswürdigkeiten machten das Sightseeing sehr angenehm.
Abends sind wir zum Biergarten des Hotel Sudpfanne gelaufen und verbrachten eine schöne Zeit mit einem frischgezapften Hellem .
Die Mitarbeiter waren unglaublich freundlich.
Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Perfekte Lage für einen Städtetrip

Rundum Top - Aber
Pros:

Eigentlich rundum gutes Apartmentzimmer. Ausstattung, Sauberkeit, Lage ( zwar von der Rezeption ein paar Straßen entfernt, dafür mitten in der Fußgängerzone),...

Cons:

Es hat extrem stark nach abgestandenem kalten Rauch gestunken. Auch nach 2h Lüften immer noch. Der Geruch muss in den Dielen oder Wänden des kleinen Apartmentflurs sitzen...Dagegen sollte was unternommen werden.

Leuke centrale locatie binnenstad Heidelberg
Pros:

Gunstig gelegen voor de binnenstad van Heidelberg. We hadden geen parkeerplaats nodig maar we hadden er wel 1 kunnen krijgen tegen betaling. Het is lawaaierig in Heidelberg op straat maar met de ramen dicht was het geluid goed te minimaliseren. Het was gelukkig niet erg warm want er is geen airco. Er is een leuk restaurant met buitenruimte. We hebben 3 nachten daar verbleven en het goed naar ons zin gehad.

Cons:

Wij hadden kamer 3 en deze heeft geen toilet en badkamer in de ruimte. Dat betekende steeds op de gang naar een apart toilet en badkamer die we wel exclusief hadden. Badkamer was niet heel bijzonder hoewel het wel een leuke spiegel had dat verlicht was. Verder was er geen lift maar dat wist ik van te voren.

Spacious room with a view.
Pros:

Spacious room with comfortable bedding. Having a small fridge helped with the sausages.

Cons:

No air-conditioning, it was hot in the room and we had to leave the window open with fear of bugs entering the premises.
