Insgesamt überzeugt die Unterkunft durch ihre Lage, hat aber einige Schwächen, die bei dem Preis stärker ins Gewicht fal

Die Lage der Unterkunft direkt in der Victoria Bay ist wirklich wunderschön und definitiv das größte Plus. Auch der Check-in hat dank der guten Beschreibung reibungslos funktioniert, und das Apartment entspricht grundsätzlich den Bildern. Den flexiblen, späteren Check-out haben wir ebenfalls sehr geschätzt.

Cons:

Es gab ein paar Punkte, die den Aufenthalt getrübt haben: Durch die Lage am Meer war die Unterkunft sehr feucht, zudem gab es sichtbare Schimmelflecken an der Decke. Auf unserer Terrasse (kleines Apartment rechts) kam es immer wieder zu starkem Abflussgeruch, was das Sitzen draußen unangenehm gemacht hat.

Die Einrichtung ist insgesamt eher einfach – wer mehr Komfort erwartet, könnte enttäuscht sein. Entsprechend fanden wir das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis im Vergleich zu anderen Unterkünften nicht ganz gerechtfertigt.

Während unseres viertägigen Aufenthalts gab es zudem keine Information zu Reinigung oder Handtuchwechsel. Etwas mehr Klarheit oder zumindest zusätzliche Ausstattung (z. B. ein zweites Küchenhandtuch oder Müllbeutel) wäre wünschenswert gewesen.

Zusätzlich hatten wir an zwei von vier Tagen kein WLAN. Der Besitzer hat zwar schnell reagiert, konnte aber keine wirkliche Lösung anbieten, da das empfohlene alternative Netzwerk bei uns nicht verfügbar war.

Perfect location and even better views!
Pros:

The location is perfect! This is the best way to have a beach holiday with kids. The house is basic and practical typical beach house vibes. Watching dolphins swim by and the most beautiful sunrises we had a great time!

Pros:

This was budget accommodation but was everthing we needed. The location was amazing a short walk and you were on the beach sitting on our little braii area we had a lovely view. The instructions to access the keys were straightforward and I knew we could contact assistance if required. Good value.

Was bit disappointed with my room view. Should post a photo of the room you are booking’s view, not the main house in front. The deck for room 2 was a saver.

Pros:

Location, clean facilities.extra wood that was supplied. Bernard our host, was very friendly and accommodating. .

Cons:

Two extra towel hooks behind shower door would be nice and a bigger shelf in shower will be a bonus.I prefer a softer pillow.

Our stay at Silver Spray in Vic Bay was more than okay
Pros:

Vic Bay has fabulous possibilities. The house was well-situated. Very clean, all amenities one could need. Spacious.

Cons:

One cannot know from the ad and website wat the view is like. Our studio was basically behind the house. But there was lots of light coming through and it was private so not such a big problem.
