I really enjoyed my stay. Everything was great the cleanliness, the service, and the convenient location close to the Haram. The lunch and dinner buffets were delicious it was actually the first time I enjoyed the food so much that I ate all my meals at the hotel throughout my stay.

Two nights, 10,000 riyals, and nothing in between
I booked the presidential suite at what's billed as the No. 1 hotel in Madinah. Here's what we got.
Check-in 7:30pm: our door was already open, someone inside spraying air freshener. A blower in the master bedroom made an alarming noise all evening. Reception wouldn't inspect it unless one of us was present — so I stood and watched a technician replace it until 1am. He did his job well. The debris he left behind stayed on the floor.
We woke to the kids' room reeking of cigarettes. Nobody had mentioned we were on a smoking floor. My children are 10, 8, and 6.
Afternoon, I went down to complain. The duty manager laughed in my face. Asked what was funny, she said it was about something else. Later, after we returned to a suite drowning in paint fumes, she informed me that painting is part of maintenance — what did I expect? And when I raised the laugh again, it had become a smile: a smile toward your Muslim brother is charity. Apparently that settles it at Dar Al Iman.
Her offer: free breakfast, and a new suite whenever the current guests happened to leave. felt disappointed and left without saying anything!
At evening, my wife went down. receptionist reminded my wife that checkout tomorrow when she asked about the manager, she replied: “all you care about check-in, check-out, and nothing in between" did a manager appear, apologize, and promise the night free plus an immediate move. She went up and packed. Half an hour later Mr. Hamza — genuinely a gentleman — came to say no suite was available.
At checkout: no note, no adjustment, no refund. The receptionist asked how our stay was. I said terribly terrible. She asked why. Nothing had been written down at any point.
this is, by the way, long story short.
10,000 riyals for two nights. Five stars on the sign, nothing behind it.

Room was very nice and spacious. Food was exceptional with variety of choices. Loved the fresh orange juice. Location was clean with kind staff. Overall place met my expectations. Elevator was fast, place was not crowded which is preferable. Can’t wait to go again!
Only the construction sound that was a bit loud.
