The hotel was beautiful, the staff were so friendly! Tony the concierge was lovely and took us to our rooms and explained everything. Bar staff all smiley and friendly. The rooms are beautiful, beds comfy. The location is fantastic, 10 minutes from the airport and right out on a beautiful sandy beach, car park with plenty of spaces. Food was excellent and lots available for breakfast. The pool and spa facilities were clean, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi were warm and relaxing. Absolutely nothing bad to say about the place! Highly recommend and will be back!
The English plugs aren't near the bed, theyre on the other side of the room which is a bit annoying when putting your phone on charge.

We have stayed at L’Horizon so many times over the years.
The location is just stunning-perfect!
The staff, well I cannot say enough about them-BEST HOTEL STAFF EVER! Really a great team, they really go above and beyond with respect, professionalism and customer service.
Unfortunately over time, the building itself is becoming tired and there is now a lot of maintenance which needs to be done before this amazing hotel is ruined beyond fixing.
Carpets lifting, roof leaking, gutters blocked, wallpaper lifting, screws coming loose, one lift not working, the floor in our room felt unstable in places, door key system broken to room-plate fell off.
DVDs available but no player in room, no internet access on tv.
These things do not take away from the beauty of the place but in time, these things could sadly be the demise. I truly hope the Hand Picked chain can turn this around asap.
I would still recommend and I would still return!
This is my favourite hotel of all time. The staff, comfort and location cannot be bettered. I love it and can’t wait to return.
The bar/food prices are on the expensive side but it is a five star hotel and to be expected.

The menu is a tiny bit limited for dinner choices. A fairly compact set choices two or three courses was a little surprising given this is a high end hotel.

Unfortunately we had very noisy neighbours. We had music blaring through the wall all evening and into the night. I tried to report this to reception by phone at about 00:20, but nobody answered. Then at about 00:30 the night manager knocked on their door and told them to turn the music off. They did, but they spent the next half hour shouting and swearing (at us, we believe). We didn't get to sleep until about 01:30.
