Nie wieder Johanniskreuz
Pros:

Preis-/Leistung unverschämt. Nur drei Essen aus der Mikrowelle zur Auswahl; ab €30.- aufwärts. Habe so ein Haus noch nicht erlebt.

we always end up our trips to Europe at this location because it is such a wonderful ending
Pros:

The breakfast is absolutely exceptional. I have never had anything so good. It was like visiting a smorgasbord. We had everything imaginable.. The chef even came out to chat with us. We have been all over Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy, etc. and have never seen anything like this wonderful place. For supper we had lamb and it was the best ever. Anyone who is near Kaiser slaautern or in this area of Should visit this place!!

Nicht noch einmal
Pros:

Schön ruhig gelegen. Möbel hübsch mit rustikaler Bauernmalerei.

Als ich auf dem Parkplatz ankam wurde ich als erstes von einem Mitarbeiter sehr rüde angesprochen.
Als ich sagte, ich hätte ein Zimmer gebucht hat er sich beruhigt und mir „erlaubt“ ins Hotel zu kommen.

Meinen Koffer musste ich drei Treppen hinauf selbst schleppen. Der Aufzug funktionierte nicht, Hilfe wurde mir nicht angeboten.

Das Zimmer war eigentlich sauber aber in einem Hotel, das Haustiere akzeptiert erwarte ich einen hygienischen Boden und keinen fleckigen Teppich, der nicht hygienisch sauber zu halten ist.

Mein Zimmer befand sich im „neuen Teil des Hauses“ - nun ja - wenn 70er Jahre Charme dem neuen Hausteil entspricht möchte ich den alten Teil nicht sehen.
Im Bad gab es zahlreiche zersprungene Fliesen und der Abfluss der Dusche war unappetitlich schwarz.
Im Zimmer angekommen war es eiskalt. Die Heizung war vermutlich gerade erst eingeschaltet worden. Bei höchster Stufe war sie nur handwarm. (Das besserte sich in der zweiten Nachthälfte)
Die Matratze des Betts war durchgelegen und die Bettfedern quietschten bei jeder Bewegung.
Unter das Bettlaken auf die Matratze zu schauen habe ich vermieden.
Das Frühstück, das im -für ein solches Hotel und Zimmer - stolzen Preis von 77€ pro Nacht nicht enthalten war habe ich mir erspart und bin früh abgereist.

Pros:

Die Zimmereinrichtung ist alt, hat aber Charme. Es war überall sauber.
Da in unserem Zimmer der Fernseher nicht funktionierte, bekamen wir problemlos ein anderes Zimmer.

Cons:

Wir waren in diesem Hotel (35 Zimmer) die einzigen Gäste, daher war wohl auch das Restaurant nicht geöffnet. D.h. wir bekamen nichts mehr zu essen.
Wir konnten im gesamten Haus kein Personal finden, unter der angegebenen Telefonnummer haben wir niemanden erreicht.
Nur zufällig sahen wir im Garten hinter dem Hotel einen Mitarbeiter, der uns aus dem benachbarten Kiosk etwas zu trinken brachte.
Wir hätten uns wohler gefühlt, wenn man uns darüber informiert hätte, dass wir alleine im Hotel sind und uns eine funktionierende Telefonnummern hinterlassen hätte.
Außerdem passte unser Zimmerschlüssel für fast alle anderen Zimmer!
