Hotel Café Schlack

A family owned traditional German hotel. Always love to stay at this place. Right in the city center and easy to move around. Breakfast is good and is offered fro early morning. A cafe shop and meeting hall is present. Owners are always very accommodative.

Stay was as usual good. Check in was fast and same was check out. Breakfast is restricted every time meaning that there is not vast selection . If you have a luggage, it’s better to stay at ground floor because of no elevators.

Overall I can give 3.5 points out of 5.

The Hotel is well located on the main street of Tuttlingen. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Bike-garage is just behind the Hotel. Breakfast was fine and plentiful. There is no Restaurant in the house.

The hotel is seriously overpriced like sky high! It has a good location in Tuttlingen but most of the rooms are bad. The bathroom is so small I barely made it alive :), on some rooms you couldn't even close the door.

They never replace the towels neither do they clean the rooms. They only tidy the beds without changing sheets. I was there for 3 weeks and they didn't replaced them once. Not to mention the smell in the rooms. Wi-fi signal is week for low wi-fi cards.

If it was half the price I would have rated it higher, this rate is just ridiculous.

This hotel is highly overpriced and also their behaviour towards foreigners is quite disturbing. As informed I arrived at 7 PM in the evening to check in, still the room was not ready and for 15 minutes they just kept me waiting without incoming what's going on. When all this is over, when I am entering my room, the bathroom and toilet are separate, walls are very thin so practically hear everything from the other room and room carpet is very dirty and blankets are stinking badly. Bed is the most uncomfortable part of this room which gave me body ache and couldn't sleep at all for 2 nights in a row. To make this experience worst I experienced very unethical behaviour from the hotel staff. The man who helped me checking in told me room rate which was changed while paying by the fact that even though my company has made this reservation, I will not be given company rate and they changed me more. I am never going back to this place!

Im have been visiting Tuttlingen since 1999.Apart once or twice, i have also stayed in this hotel.I have seen it transform from a B&B to a business hotel though with few exceptions.
The hotel has two floors,no lift,security cameras,well carpeted,huge breakfast area,private parking,cafe,bar,free wi-fi and all that one needs on a business stay.
Hotel is walking distance from Tuttlingen train station and city centre.
All the restaurants and shopping malls are closeby.
The owner of the hotel is very polite to help you.

I cannot recommend this hotel. The single rooms are very small and the WC is practically in your room. In my room there was everywhere dust.
The only good point is the breakfast. The diversity was big.
