Hotel Moresco

Close to Piazzale Roma, friendly staff, clean room

We had a lovely 6 night stay at this beautiful and charming hotel. They have tried to think of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The bedrooms are clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. We appreciated the welcome drink and snack, also a lovely bottle of prosecco waiting for us and the constant supply of fresh water every day. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of fresh fruit and cooked to order dishes. A big thank you to Michele at breakfast who was superb and catered to our every need. We also loved the fabulous cichetti each evening at aperitivo time. It was a great way to get to know some of the other guests. We had just one little problem which was some inconsiderate guests in the suite above, dragging furniture and letting their children run riot at 11.00pm. Thankfully it was immediately sorted out by Enza at reception.

I felt safe staying here with my daughter. Staff was helpful with anything we needed. Also, liked how close it was to Piazzalle Roma. We only had to cross 1 bridge with our luggage. Delicious breakfast, large rooms, immaculate.

People are super nice. Great location, easy access to attractions, and it’s quiet which is very important for me.

Our very favorite hotel anywhere. So well appointed. Just charming and comfortable. Excellent staff. Service is wonderful. Relaxing courtyard. Close to train, buses, taxis. We have had the pleasure of staying here 3 times. Would consider no other hotel.

Very nice staff, great breakfast and evening snacks

We were a large family group and enjoyed our stay. We found the breakfast and the afternoon Venetian sandwiches delightful and the staff wonderful. The rooms were very clean, bright and charming. The style of the hotel is exquisite, with the wallpaper, art, and all the details a delight at every turn. This hotel was lovely. It was a bit of a walk to Piazza San Marco, but it is a very lovely walk through all the small streets and by the shops. There is a vaporetto stop about 5-7 minutes from the hotel as well.

Very convenient to getting in and out of Venice. Easy walk to train station, busses and cabs. Staff was very helpful

A fairly short walk from the train station (10 minutes with luggage, up and down two bridges) and you arrive here - Hotel Moresco, located serenely on a fairly quiet canal. You feel like you are a bit away from everything but can easily get to the action in 10 minutes. The lobby is small but well appointed and has a bar where we were asked to wait while they checked us in, with a welcome drink of course. felt like a New York City boutique hotel. We had two canal view rooms for our family and enjoyed looking out as often as we could. The breakfast is included and you can sit in the small dining room or in the back garden. The weather was very hot when we were there so we only enjoyed the garden for a short time one evening but in cooler weather this is the spot! Quiet reprieve from the bustle of Venice. Also, the AC in this hotel was 10/10 and there was a water bottle-filling station in the lobby. For us Americans both of these thi9ngs were deeply appreciated. Each evening they host a happy hour from 6:30-8 with free spread of chicetti, good variety. Drinks you have to pay for but the bartender mixes a great spritz! Breakfast has good options and you can order eggs any way you like and a variety of coffees include cappuccino and espresso. Nice location, clean and elegant hotel but not stuffy - highly recommend!
