A great start to a trip
Pros:

The breakfast was delicious. The hotel was situated towards the outskirts of Campbelltown which meant it was a fairly peaceful location. The staff were all friendly and polite whenever I spoke to them.

Cons:

Being on the outskirts, it was a bit of an uphill trek from the harbour to the hotel, something to be aware of if coming from ferry.

Perfect for what we needed and excellent vegan breakfasts
Pros:

Tracey and Bruce are wonderful hosts. We came to Campbelltown on our bicycles to explore the area before setting off to cycle the Caledonia Way. They went above and beyond to provide us with exceptional vegan and vegetarian breakfasts as all 4 of us had special dietary requirements. We left feeling really well fuelled up for our long journey.

Cons:

Nothing

Not the best shower. Far enough out of town to make walking down the hill and back intimidating

Pros:

We had ab excellent stay at Dellwood house. We stayed in Campbeltown to visit the Springbank distillery. Dellwood is ideally placed, an easy walk into town and on the main road out when it is time to leave.
I would not hesitate to recommend Dellwood House.

Comfortable family-run hotel made an ideal place to stay for the Ultra- Marathon in lovely Campbeltown. Will be back!
Pros:

Owners Bruce and Tracey and their staff are super-friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble.
Location ideal for me, on outskirts of town but 5 min walk from centre. Hotel characterful and homely, room comfortable - slept well, shower hot and easy to adjust, kettle biscuits and tea/coffee in room very welcome. Perhaps not the most modern facilities but everything worked well and was very clean.
Breakfast was lovely - traditional full Scottish, and Tracey’s home-made marmalade was simply gorgeous!👍

Cons:

Really nothing to not like - perhaps could use a wee shelf in the shower to put the shampoo/soap on, but that is it.
