Amazing Location
Pros:

TRES BEL HOTEL DE CHARME EN STYLE COLONIAL

Grande chambre et salle de bains propres - amabilité et serviabilité du personnel - le patio intérieur où se trouve le restaurant - la proximité de la plage et des restaurants

Great place to stay in Pondichery. Shame about the poor breakfast and th staff not being receptive.
Pros:

Beautiful surroundings. Thee bedroom was spacious with a lovely terrace. Great restaurant in situ.

Cons:

Staff could be more receptive. Breakfast was very basic. Not much and very few options.

It was brilliantly situated:staff were great: breakfasts were good: we had a very nice evening meal . In addition to all this I left my jacket at the Hotel and only noticed on arrival in Thanjavur!! The hotel very kindly organised a courrier for it to be sent to a Hotel in Munnar: it never arrived before our departure from here but it finally caught up with me in Kochi. I very much appreciate the effort, and for this alone I would give the hotel § stars: Thank you

Pros:

Great central location, charming friendly staff. Lovely courtyard, nice heritage room. The various heritage aspects of the old school building have been nicely retained and sympathetically restored. A great team led by Shakti the friendly manager... Thank you all.

My third stay in this beautiful characterful property.
Pros:

The friendliness and courtesy we met at our arrival. We were given nicer rooms than we expected and that was lovely.
The staff were all friendly and wanted to help.
Our evening dinners were delicious. Lovely to eat some french food.

Cons:

It would have been nice if the courtyard wasn’t washed so early as I was woken at 6 each morning and my room was on the courtyard. If the bucket was plastic instead of metal I might not have woken!
