Pros:

We actually did not stay over at the Cumberland but left after an hour of booking in.

Cons:

I booked this hotel based on a 8.5 rating on booking.com. This rating is very misleading compared to 4 other properties we stayed in during our trip. Does booking.com ever visit some of the hotels they host on their website?

Pros:

The hotel is in a great location to the Spa theatre and sea front. There was a genuine warm and friendly service from all the staff we encountered during our stay.

Cons:

Unfortunately we didn't get to experience the breakfast due to a power outage in the kitchen, but this couldn't have been helped and the staff were very helpful in giving other options.
