Our stay at the Cumberland Hotel at Scarborough exceeded our expectations
Pros:

Great breakfast with lots of choice, lovely clean room, very friendly staff, we even opted to have our evening meals there and the meals were really tasty.

Cons:

That we had to leave there.

i enjoyed being in Scarborough i will return. i did not feel welcome in the hotel at food times,
Pros:

reception welcoming. One female waitress. hotel near to the sea. dinner was value for money.

Cons:

when waiting to be served for breakfast i had to asked twice to be served. staff were too busy serving coach guests. food ran out at breakfast eg. fruit yoghurt milk and even no bowls. on our table we were left with the wrong menu for dinner.when we did go for dinner we were told that is was the previous nights menu.

Lovely place to stay.
Pros:

The Staff were lovely,made you welcome and helpful. The room was nice and warm,comfortable twin beds. Plenty of tea and Coffee etc. The cooked breakfast was outstanding,plenty of toast offered and hot drinks. Just a wonderful place to stay, Thank you Cumberland Hotel.

Cons:

Nothing could have made it any better,it was just perfect.

Great location. Room layout was ok for an overnight stay but not ideal for a longer stay

Cons:

The room looked a little tired and out dated although the bed was very comfortable. The TV and kettle were was placed on the dressing table which made it impossible to use the dressing table to get ready. Couldn’t move either as the plugs were behind the wardrobe!

Very welcoming and warm
Pros:

The hotel was spotless and very welcoming nice docor the staff was very friendly and helpful the lady behind the bar was helpful but don’t think she likes to smile not very welcoming room was lovely and warm pillows were very comfortable just what s needed after walking miles

Cons:

The bed was bit firm but still comfortable still slept very well 👌 breakfast was ok but coffee was terrible so weak I look forward for my morning coffee more than food
