Pros:

Nice breakfast, comfortable room with nice size bed

Cons:

No telephone in room so had to go down to reception a couple times as had problems with TV which receptionist sorted promptly.

Cons:

Needs to be cheaper priced. Really needs an update on the whole building. Staff were ok but the night staff was terrible couldnt give answer to questions very poor. Bed felt like it had speed hump running down the full of it pillows were like to concrete blocks and tv fitter needs a new spirit level. At one point i thought it gonna fall off the wall and it ruined veiwing of Emmerdale because i ended up with a crook neck watching it. But all in all the parking was fantastic.

Pleasant but have breakfast elsewhere if you can.
Pros:

The room, although the decoration was very dated felt clean and fresh, the bedding was of good quality and the twin beds were comfortable. We had a lovely view across the town and the windows were such that we could leave them open but still felt secure as we were on floor 2. We slept well as it is in a quiet area of town and the traffic was light on the roads near the hotel. The bathroom was quite small but the shower worked perfectly and again it was spotlessly clean, the cleaning staff are doing an excellent job. All of the staff were lovely, kind, patient and engaging. We had brought our car and we had no issues securing a parking space right outside of the hotel and the receptionist kindly gave us a parking voucher that covered us for the following day too which was great.

Cons:

We really didn’t enjoy the breakfast, the bacon was dry and tasteless, the sausage wasn’t nice and the eggs were poor quality, for the price we didn’t think breakfast was good value for money. The man who served us was very pleasant though and he went out if his way to find me some tea that I liked.

Good VFM property in a good location
Pros:

Property is in a good location, close to train station and within walking distance of all South Bay attractions. Staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are spotlessly clean, if a little dated. Check in is easy and the front-of-house team rally make customers valued and feel welcome. Breakfast is excellent, with lots of choice.

Cons:

Rooms & corridors are hot with no air conditioning (but a fan is provided for each room). The side of the hotel that faces Valley Bridge Rd is very noisy as the old sash windows let in a lot of external noise.

Pros:

The staff were extremely welcoming, polite and professional.
Location was brilliant, 15 minutes walk to the SJT and town centre and less than 5 minutes to the sea front.
Breakfast great choice and great produce.

Cons:

Room was a little dated, carpet not clean ( blonde long hairs and fluff). Bathroom had a fusty smell and limited space between the toilet and heated towel rail.
